A few weeks ago, I took Angelo, a 14-week old Welsh Corgi, to the groomers. I give him regular baths at home and I follow professional grooming manuals to the letter. However, I wanted him to get his nails done and his ears cleaned. We made an appointment and got the Puppy Package for him. I dropped him off and the girl there was rude and cold to me and to an elderly couple who was picking up there Chihuahua. We handed Angelo over and went out to finish our shopping. This was a Sunday and they weren't that busy.

We got a call at 1:30 saying he'd be ready for pickup in about 20 minutes. When I got there, she still had an attitude as she brought him back to me. I had to ask for the bandana they were supposed to give me for free, but that wasn't the issue. After sending my boyfriend out to pay, they finally handed me my dog. Problem one: as he scurried to get away from her and to me, he clawed my arm. As I was carrying him out, I checked his paws and saw his nails were UNTOUCHED. They hadn't even TRIED to file them. Problem Two: He hadn't been washed, at most he had some water dumped on him because his undercoat was coarse and dirty feeling. I've owned enough dogs to know when they've been washed well and he had not. Problem Three: His ears were still filthy. They hadn't done anything except leave a redness in his right ear. We tried to dismiss it, but we were livid.

Tonight, we had to take my baby to the 24 hour hospital because the redness was worse. Not only that, he began mauling his ear, shaking his head and crying loudly. The vet swabbed him and he has a yeast infection that we'll be treating for 7-10 days and hope it doesn't become recurring. My point: not only did the woman NOT do her job, she hurt my puppy. The vet says we can't prove she did anything since infections are so easy to catch, but he's never had one before. She says what may have happened is they may have poured/gotten water in his ear which, as any REAL groomer will tell you, is a HUGE no-no for Corgis. The poor little guy is still suffering, but hopefully he will improve.

And while we're at it, to heck with Banfield too. I worked as a temp for Science Diet once in Customer Service/Order Acquisition and Banfield and PetSmart were always given special, private treatment by an elite group of people. They wouldn't even speak to us grunts except to make outrageous demands when their elite team was out to lunch. They are an untrustworthy place who make fat cat deals. Buy from your vet or a local pet food store and stop feeding big business!

I want back the amount of the grooming, the amount of the vet bill for the tests and the medicine and I want that woman fired. The third thing is the most important because nobody should hand over their baby to an inept teenager with an attitude problem who doesn't do her job and manages to harm an otherwise healthy dog. We will never enter PetSmart again.

We had the older style of litermaid cat box and it worked GREAT! Then after years of use it broke. We purchased the new litermaid elite model and it [is bad]! We have 1 cat and it doesnt scoop the mess at all. It TRIES TO but I have to end up scooping it. Why then did I even WASTE my money on this newer model? I wanted the EXACT same older one but of course they either dont make them or you cant find them in stores any more. Liter maid elite is a BIG TIP OFF!

Does not scoop the mess. And for as EXPENSIVE as it was its a WASTE of money! I would NEVER EVER reccomend this product (not even to my worse enemies if I had any)

I had to take my dog to a specialized eye doctor in OK. While we were waiting I decided to take her to petsmart. My vet recommended advantix or some stuff like that, so it hough it would pick some up, all I could find was the sentry pro xfc stuff. it seemed decent so i bought it. the dog was immediately bothered by it. I also woke uo to a face full of medicine smelling fur the next day, when she was sleeping next to me.

I waited 24 hours an gave her a bath, the area still continued to bother her. I also noticed that she seems more lethargic on walks, doesn't catch things very well anymore, and paces a lot more.

since her reaction is not as extreme as other on here, I hope that she will fully recover. All I am seeking is that all makers of these topical flea/tick products advise a 1/2 dose for the first time. I also seek that petsmart and other pet stores have informational pamphlets available on the isle that these products are sold.

I purshased a barking collar for just under 100.00 and went to return it to the store. I had my bank statement showing that I had purchased it at their store, Pet Smart in Largo, Flordia but had never received my receipt from the store. The manager has no customer service skills and acted liked a spoiled teenager when she told me that she would not refurn my money. She just stated it's store policy and was very ugly about not being able to answer whay can't I get my money back, you can see it came out of my checking account. If you ever go there, don't buy a thing. maybe pet smart will get the idea that they need to put someone in as manager that actually knows how to deal with the public. I called customer service in Phonenix, Arizona and as of yet, they have not called me back on my complaint. Still upset.

I bought a couple of bags of Authority food from Petsmart in London Ontario. First one I opened, was FULL of mold. I wrote Petsmart to let them know, and they ignored me. I returned the bags of food to Petsmart and they acted like I was inconvenient, but were not at all as shocked and horrified about the mold that we were. I felt that they were used to having people return food with mold in it. They gave me back my money, didn't even look in the bags to see if I was telling the truth. Didn't seem to even care.

I have since written Petsmart 3 more times and they continue to ignore me. I guess they are either so used to complaints about problems with their foods, or they could care less about people's pets. If they don't even contact me about the food, what does that say about them as a business? I am not looking for money or free food, just confirmation that they know and are dealing with their obvious problem with storage and rotation of their foods. Nothing... Petsmart does NOT care about pet owners or pets.
