I purchased the Busy Bone treat for dogs for my Toy Fox Terrier and it is making her vomit. I gave her one the first day and she started vomiting a few hours later but I figured maybe she was just not feeling well and just kept watch. Her behavior did not change so I did not link the treat with the vomiting until today. This is several days later and I gave her another busy bone. She had been fine for days. Now she is vomiting again.

I have been feeding my dog Purina One since he was a pup. He is now 6 years old. 2 1/2 years ago, he had his first seizure. Upon taking him to the vet, the vet was surprised that he headn't had a seizure before that time. (Apparently if a dog is prone to seizures they start earlier in life, not after they are 3). The first two seizures were a year apart and the last one was only 8 months after the second one.

The last seizure my dog had was the worst and I am afraid they will kill him. I am changing dog food IMMEDIATELY after reading other dogs have Purina One and seizures in common.

Follow-up from my October 10 2008 post. My cats are doing great now! I have had no more problems since I switched my cats off Purina. The food is of very low quality and it it NOT what a cat needs to be a healthy cat. I am happy to say that my cats are now healthy and luckily still alive. No more bloody urine, no more Rodent ulcers. No more vet bills. I feed my cats Blue Spa indoor formula now. It's been great. You can go to their website and they'll send you a coupon. It may seem expensive. BUT look at your vet bills.

Soon after our precious cat (Amy) ate Purina One Dry Cat Food (Senior Protection Formula), our cat had a seizure and died suddenly (after the seizure) on January 31, 2009. The Purina One Dry Cat Food was purchased in January 2009. It is my belief that our cat's sudden death was due to the Purina One Dry Cat Food (Senior Protection Formula) that our cat ate.

My 7 indoor cats have been eating Kit 'N Kaboodle since they were young kittens. The product had disappeared from store shelves over the past 3 months. Though 8 to 10 local retailers have carried the product, the shelves are empty. A few of the retailers have recently reassigned the shelf space for other brands. I have made several calls to Purina over the past 5 weeks, and Purina has repeatedly insisted that there is no distribution problem, and that I just need ot expand my retailer search.

Having been a Purina customer for over 20 years, and now spending roughly 100/month for Purina food, I am bewildered that they claim no distribution problems and continue to drive and search for retailers. I can't just switch cat foods without risk of physical (and behavioral) problems with my cat. How can Purina be so irresponsible?

I am now down to about 3 pounds of food, with no alternative. I cannot afford to pay more for their product, so online shipping is not an option.
