On 2006 I purchased a 3 in 1 credit report on line. I corrected all information that did not belonged to me, by writing to the other credit reporting agencies (Equifax & Trans Union)which corrected said wrong information.

However, we were never able to write to Experian because they do not facilitate an address where credit dispute can be directed to. Experian only accepts dispute on line, by forcing you to purchase a credit report from them & only them.

This I said, because the 3 in 1 report I've purchased on-line, even though included Experian's files, was not accepted by Experian (as valid) for disputing the info. which still is in Experian's files.

Experian should facilitate an address to which we could write to dispute wrong info. on our credit files.

At the present time I've refinanced my house, and Experian's report on my files still has wrong info.

I recently (9/7/08) purchased another 3 in 1 credit report on line, and found out the mistakes which ONLY Experian has. This is costing me a higher interest rate on my mortgage and my car financing. Please, Shouldn't we have the right to wright to Experian without having to purchase a credit report from them only?

The other credit reporting agencies do have such an address. Please look into this matter. Thank you very much..

I signed up for a free credit report. They must have used my information to sign me up for a monthly plan that was taking 12.00 US from my account per month. They refused to give me a refund and told me about their no refund policy. I demanded my money back telling them I did not agree or sign up for any service and I also did not accept any service!

My bank account suffered overdrafts due to unexpected withdrawl which my bank notified me as being bank charges at first.... little did they know other people are scamming my money besides them...

On 2006, I got for my brother a 3 in 1 credit report. We corrected what we saw it was wrong, by writing to the other 2 credit reporting agencies (Equifax & Trans Union), however we have never been able to get an address for Experian; they do not advertise it in any way (on line or else). Who ever wants to dispute with Experian, is force to purchase a report from them. In other words, the 3 in 1 report we bought, it's not accepted by Experian as valid for a dispute. We've been trying very hard to find a mailing address for Experian so that we can dispute our report by mail. The other 2 agencies, already have complied with our requests, but not Experian.

My brother is re-financing his home, and still appears in his credit report incorrect information, but only from Experian. This is costing him money in the form of higher % on credit.

I pulled an Experian credit report directly from their website. It was the 3-in-1 version that included data from all three bureaus. After reviewing the data, I disputed some minor collections accounts online. They were removed the next day; I was notified via email and provided an updated report. Then I obtained a report from Equifax. Again, I paid for the 3-in-1 version.

This time, the report contained a large quantity of accounts (open/closed/past due) that did not belong to me. However, the account information was under the Experian data (remember-I pulled an Equifax report). I contacted Experian and discovered they had crossed my SSN with another individual. The analyst told me this person had similar name and had lived at the same prior address; their apartment number at the prior residence was also nearly the same as mine. They proceeded to correct my credit file by separating his data from mine. Since submitting the corrections, I received another updated report that seems to indicate they corrected their mistake.

I spent hours making phone calls to research the matter, which caused me to miss work. Also, I am in the process of purchasing a home but will now have to delay that transaction by weeks to confirm that my credit file has been restored. This could have an impact on the financing terms offered to me, as well as my eligibility for the loan.
