I subscribe to Credit Expert for a fee. One of the services reported is my credit score. I just found out that the credit score reported to me, is not the same as reported to (for example) lending institutions. Their disclamer talks about different institutions having different models, but no where do they say that the credit score they report to the consumer (In my case monthly for a fee) is different than to 3rd parties.

This is very deceptive. One of the main reasons to subscribe to a credit service such as Credit Expert, is to monitor your credit score. To find out that score is not the one being reported is very misleading.

I had a collection agency on my report report in 2006 however after numerous letters back and forth Collect America LTD has agreed to remove this collection from my credit report. I do have a signed letter from Collect America which a copy of has been sent via fax, mail and email to Experian to have this account removed. Experian has refused to accept my dispute of this account to have it removed. Collect America LTD has done their part by agreeing to have the account removed however Experian is constantly refusing to even dispute or look into this account for removal from my credit file.

Since this account has not been removed I am unable to apply for 2 car loans which has caused significant damaged to my credit report with inquiries and denials. It has become very difficult to obtain high limit cards or personal loans. This account must be removed from my file.

EXPERIAN will not allow me to temporary lift my credit freeze. A credit freeze is a right I have as a NYS resident. The other two credit agencies have been no problem in lifting the freeze, but EXPERIAN has made it close to impossible to lift my credit freeze as allowed by NY law. This company should have it's practices investigated.

I could loose a deal on a new car by this problem. The gov should look into EXPERIAN credit practices and they will find that they cant sell the credit freeze peoples info so they make it very hard to lift a credit freeze. This has created a economic hardship for me and I expect my gov representatives to act.

I have tried to dispute, 4 derogartory alerts on my credit report, on line but youron line service said I needed a credit report from experian. I have tried to obtain a free report from experian on line, but they said it was not available to me. Since I am a member of another credit report company I have received these derogatory alerts from experian and have no way of disputing them. I feel that I should not have to pay for a report because of an error on your part. If, you would check the social security number and date of birth on these derogatory alerts you would see that they don't belong to me. I have called one of the commpanies that that made the claim and was told to notify experian
