EXPERIAN will not allow me to temporary lift my credit freeze. A credit freeze is a right I have as a NYS resident. The other two credit agencies have been no problem in lifting the freeze, but EXPERIAN has made it close to impossible to lift my credit freeze as allowed by NY law. This company should have it's practices investigated.

I could loose a deal on a new car by this problem. The gov should look into EXPERIAN credit practices and they will find that they cant sell the credit freeze peoples info so they make it very hard to lift a credit freeze. This has created a economic hardship for me and I expect my gov representatives to act.

I have tried to dispute, 4 derogartory alerts on my credit report, on line but youron line service said I needed a credit report from experian. I have tried to obtain a free report from experian on line, but they said it was not available to me. Since I am a member of another credit report company I have received these derogatory alerts from experian and have no way of disputing them. I feel that I should not have to pay for a report because of an error on your part. If, you would check the social security number and date of birth on these derogatory alerts you would see that they don't belong to me. I have called one of the commpanies that that made the claim and was told to notify experian

I've tried to contact someone over the phone to see if they have received my request to freese my credit and it has been impossable. There are different phone numbers and they provide automated information but none of it pertains to what I am calling about. This is very frustrating. My credit card does not show a charge for this freeze I requested, so I am concerned that the informaion I sent to them has fallen into the wrong hands sense the information they request for this freeze could be of value to crooks. This was sent to them about 3 weeks ago and I still haven't heard from them. Can you help?

Diane of Union, NJ August 2, 2008

On 4/10/08; My friend wanted to get her credit report while she was at my home. We went on-line and requested a ONE TIME credit report via an Experian Site and gave my DEBIT card number for the one time charge of 14.95. Lorna Clarks Credit REport; Diane Cassitta to pay by Debit card # We not only DID NOT GET her credit report, but they (Equifax)have billed my checking account for three full months now.

I called on 4/11 and spoke to a rep. who said they would credit my account. However, the following month I was billed and called again, and had my friend come over because it was her SS # and we both explained and was told they would credit my account. But instead, they billed my account again, so we called again and they said they would credit my account, but again they billed me...

Now they want my SS number and my bank records where I was charged. I am outraged at such fraud. They know they charged me, why should I give them my bank statements.....they won't even give me a last name, or an address, I know this is purely fraud.

IT IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING; time consuming, and fraudulent to charge me 3 months in a row without my authorization for anything...I rec'd no services, my friend never got a credit report....how can this continue... They must be doing this all the time... sounds like a class action law suit to me. can You help me?
