Experian was notifiedin regard to a judgment which was entered against me, the wrong person and that the judgment was vacated. Experian stated that they would verify the information. Experian stated that they had notified the Clerk's Office and that the judgment was still on record. The Clerk stated that Experian has NEVER contacted the Clerk's Office in regard to this judgment.

I have found experian to be rude and they gave misleading information. I sent experian a certified letter with the vacated order from the Court. Experian has not removed this from my report. Experian is the only credit agrency that ignores consumers' complaints. Experian was debiting my account 12.95 per month for credit protection. I have been unable to get a person on the phone. Experian forwards you to different phone numbers, none of which are with a live person, only recorded messages.

This has destroyed my credit score. I have suffered great emotional stress. My credit score is high with all other agencies. However, Experian has me listed as poor. I have taken pride in maintaining my good credit rating.

After revieiwng my credit report, I noticed that another individual's information; including Social Security Number was on my report. This caused some problems for me. However, the biggest problem occurred when I attempted to get the situation resolved. I tried every avenue I could find. I did go their web site, however, it didn't work. I tried calling their Corp office. I was actually hung up on. Their customeer service is lacking consideraly.

I am not writing because I believe I have a legal case. However, I do feel that these three agencies have an inordinant amount of power over our lives. But who has power over them. I believe that my situation has been resolved. What concerns me is the way I was treated and the difficulty I had in reaching a live individual, which is what the situation required. I had to use a day of vacation to do this. It doesn't seem right.

Not sure yet if there were any. However, I do believe that I was turned down for a credit app because of this situation.

There is a past due account on my credit report that has been satisfied and i have notified experian via u.s. mail and they have not removed this negative account from my credit. I have attempted to contact them several times via the telephone and cannot speak to a live person. I have also attempted several time on the dispute section of their website but have received no action.

This has proven to be quite exhausting. i have taken pride in maintaining my good credit standing and to have this occur. Credit agencies are supposed to help maintain a person's good name. not damage it.

First of all I have submitted several disputes with experian, none of them show and none have been submitted by them. I mailed disputes twice with paper work to show proof of being paid and even court papers from a judge-to take a judgment against me off. Nothing from experian yet. I've tried to call several times and can never speak with a live person. Until all of this is resolved I cannot get a mortgage.

I cannot get a mortgage until these matters are resolved. I have disputed things on transunion and equifax with results within 30 days sometimes less. How can experian get away with screwing a persons life and credit? This is causing a major hardship on me and my family

Solomon of North Plainfield, NJ July 18, 2008

Solomon of North Plainfield NJ (07/18/08)
First of all it is almost impossible to get live person to talk to. Even if you manage to get through they will be of no help, not like other credit agencies. I contacted experian regarding a negative item on my credit report. All other credit agencies after I sent them the supporting document they took it off but Experian, the problem is when I contacted the original creditor Sears they told me we don't have any information about this account we sold it to colllection agency, I got a letter from collection that this account is closed based on there is no evidence from Sears to support there claim. I did 3 disputes already with no luck I wish FD would do somethig about Experian.

My credit score went down 15 points and I got rejected for credit increase and low transfer balances.
