These candles can have a high flame, posing a risk of burn injuries to consumers. Kmart has received one report of a high flame with these candles. No injuries were reported.
The candles were sold at Kmart stores nationwide from April 2004 through January 2005 for about $6. Consumers should stop using these candles immediately and contact Global Gift Industries to request a free replacement product, or return them to any Kmart store for a full refund. The recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). |
