Loretta of Brownwood, TX January 14, 2009

Loretta of Brownwood TX (01/14/09)
I have recently heard the Brownwood,TX store will be remodeling and no longer carry fabric and other craft goods. This is the only store in Brownwood that has carried fabric. What are people who sew and knit to do with the nearest fabric store is 70 miles away?

I went wit my daughter to walmart got my things and went to checkout at front. i noticed my stuff was higher than i thought and mentioned to the girl then told her i would look at it since she had other people in line. i never left the store. i went to customer service and asked what i got that was 13.50. when the lady couldnt find anything she left my daughter and me sitting for along time. when the other lady came back she still had no answer. it took over a hour for several people to decide to give me my money back only after several people had went through my bags i had bought and we had been asked several times if we had left the store which we had not. it made me and my 17 yr daughter feel like we had done somthing wrong. it was very embrassing made us upset to thik that they may have been thinking we had stole somthing

one lady said a scan bar code doesnt just come from no where well in our case it did. we were told sorry gave my money and that was suposed to make it all ok. just mental we were going to have a good 21 st birthday for my son. we had went there to get his cake and the event of the morning kinda took some of the fun out of it

Anita of Du Quoin IL (01/13/09)
I have noticed that over a period of time that most items and products have gone from American made to product of China. How did this happen, I want to buy American and help out our economy, not make china a more prosperous country. I have also recently noticed that in the grocery department a lot of meats are product of Mexico. I don' want to buy meat for my family from Mexico, I want to help American farmers, even if I have to pay more. maby we have all been eating meat from Mexico all along and just didn't know it till they started letting us know that it is product of Mexico, as for me I won't buy it. n

Kent of Springville, UT January 12, 2009

Kent of Springville UT (01/12/09)
I had special ordered a rifle from their sporting goods dept. on the 1st of December. My due date, arrival date, was on the 31st of Dec. The price of this rifle was a fair amount, 800 plus. I had called 2 weeks after purchase date for any information but none was given. Then I called on the 31 of Dec. and asked for the same info., the response was that I'll get a manager to call and I'll call you back. No call back and no info.

I called today the 12th of Jan. the same thing applied. It took me three phone calls and one with a manager to find out that they new nothing. The only info. that they could offer me was that the last back orders had been filed and that I might be the next one to receive my order, no manufacture date, no ship date, no arrival date. It took me numerous phone calls and a little pressure to get this information.

I work at a local sam's club and I handle special orders every day. Some times I have to go through club support to get a answer and responce for the members that I deal with but I do it with respect for the member and their questions. Sometimes it takes a little effort above and beyond the daily routine. I see a lack of it at this wal-mart and I would like to make a complaint. Thank you.

Frances of Asheboro, NC January 11, 2009

Frances of Asheboro NC (01/11/09)
My daughter and I go to the Asheboro Walmart every weekend. It is the same story every weekend. The bathrooms are absolutely nasty--the toilet tissue holders are coming off the wall the commodes are dirty, there is paper all over the floor, there are no paper towels to dry your hands on. It is an absolute disgrace to other Walmarts. You can never find anyone to help you lift heavy things such as big bags of dogfood, etc. They do not price their items correctly. There is one price on the object and when you check out another. The Asheboro Walmart is becoming very junky and disorganized.

I have been shopping this store since it was build and it continues to go down. I am a widow with no survivor benefits and must watch my spending as well as everything else. I will have to travel to Randleman to shop at Walmart which would cost me more in gas, wear and tear on my car but the Asheboro store bathrooms and the junky presentation makes you want to chose another place to shop.-
