I was hired to worked at the Toy Department and on a Monday at 5:50pm, another employee that I don't even know, came over my department and told You are going to pushed carts until midnight she didn't even call me by my name, was very rude by not introducing herself and I was not trained to use the electric push card to make the job easier and she didn't care that I had to push carts myself without the training with the low pay that employees received. I punched out and I left and they never pay me a week for work, probably for punishment for leaving. The Walmart Store at Leicester is one of the most racist and prejudice place I have ever been, employees there look at hispanics and blacks like we are weird creatures. the minority is very minimum. Many people in Worcester does not like to go to the Walmart Supercenter in Leicester because they notice the environment full of racism in the air. Someone has to do something.

I was treated without respect and very unprofessional, called me by YOU not even polite.

On September 18,2008 I checked my online paystub and noticed that I was missing 10 hours. That night when I went to work I told a assistant manager that i was short the hours. He told me he would take care of it and it would be on my next check. October 2,2008 was the next check and it still was not on there so I notified the corporate office. They told me to speak to someone in the personell department. When I spoke to them they told me to go back to the manager that said they would fix it. That manager told me to talk to the store manager, the store manager told me to talk to personel. It was one big circle. On October 16,2008 I again checked my online paystub and was missing another 7 hours. I went through the whole process over again. Now it is October 29,2008 and this matter has yet to be resolved. I am on my last limb with this. No one wants to help me with this matter.

Because they would not fix my hours or come up with a solution I had no choice but to quit my job. They then said that i was fired due to lack of work. I do not understand how they can do this because I spoke to a member of management and told them I quit because nothing was being done

Dairy of Las Cruces, NM October 27, 2008

Dairy of Las Cruces NM (10/27/08)
I am writing to you this problem need's urgent attention because we the associate in dairy dept at wal-mart 0806 are very upset because they gave a the department manger position to an associate in toy dept who only had 5 months working at walmart just because assistant managers promised her the next department. we think it was unprofessional or unfair because there was alot of associates in the dairy who well qualified and didnt get an interview. we dont think its right we think we should of been given a chance!

now is this one of walmarts new policy or is this called favoritetism ? And believe me this is not the first time please look into this and dont let the hard working associates be unnoticed!

well the damage is our feel for walmart is not great nomore and we are just wondering is it home office or is it that this management is corrupted?

I doubt very much if this will help but I have to put in my 2cents! I in the past worked for you and loved it! Now in the past years way too much has changed and not for the best either! First you did away with Lay-a-way, that helped so many people in our area and remember we are the ones that made Wal-Mart!!

Second of all you have done away with all the music and with Christmas coming how awful to shop and have no Christmas music to help put us in the mood to spend money, oh well it is your loss, that's why we DONT shop Target because it is too boring!

Third, you have done away with all the sewing and yarn and crafts, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?? And now we hear that Sporting Goods is on the way out! AGAIN, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING??

Fourth, I have heard that your going to automatic phone system and we will be talking to a computer like at Meyers. Folks all I can say is that you are digging your own grave, soon Wal-Mart will be just a thing of the past and you will have NO ONE to blame but the big shots that are making some of the dumbest decisions I have ever heard. I suggest that you re-think some of these ideas, you truly are going and have already lost many of your customers that have helped build and keep Wal-Mart what it was.

And while I am at it, please stop buying so much China made stuff and start helping the USA! This is a serious matter, everything I have written has been the talk of our town and I'm telling you if your as smart as you think you are you will start giving back to us and stop taking away!! We the people are Wal-mart but we can just as easily become any other chain store. I hope this is taken as serious as it is written!!

Economic..... they (Wal-Mart) are not for the people anymore!!!!

I am an associate with Walmart. If you see the price listed is different than what it rang up for... YOU ARE TO GET IT FOR THE LOWEST PRICE. If you are an associate --- YOU ALSO CAN GET IT AT THE DISCOUNTED PRICE ---- AND YOU CAN DO PRICE OVERRIDES FOR YOUR ITEMS.

Walmart is draining everyone. They come in and offer low prices and then when the customer is unaware prices rise and rise and rise. I think someone needs to put a stop to this.
