Wal-Mart Tries to Buff Its Image

Lizzy of Pittsburgh, PA April 4, 2007

Lizzy of Pittsburgh PA (04/04/07)
My fiance and I were doing some shopping and we can to the produce aisle. We turned the corner and I proceeded to gather the things I needed to get and I turned back to the cart and I slid on a whole carton of blueberries. that had must have been there for sometime and not usually being accustomed to looking down to walk I moved forward without looking down. Now the manager said they do rounds for this sort of thing every 10 minutes. Well, apparently not if they were there for some time according to the video survaillance. So, I turn laying lay on the ground from falling. My husband ran to get help and the only thing they said was to leave by myself or in an ambulance. I said to call an anbulance because i samcked my head and twisted quite unnaturally. The ambulance came and I was told I had brused my hips and had a concussion, tore my left forearm muscle. When I called Wal-Mart to file a claim the said they would look into it. Not 2 hours later they called back to deny my claim. I was stuck with all the medical and ambulance bills.

I lost almost my appartment because I couldn't pay rent that month due to the medical bills. I just can't believe it took them 2 hours not even 2 to eny my claim saying the don't have medical liability. What, are they too perfect to be covered in case of an accident?
