Darren of Bonnyman, KY April 23, 2009

I went to Wal-Mart today to get some supplies. When I went in, I seen a rear tine triller(it had been brought back to the store by someone it was real muddy ) and a sign on it stating that it was 100.00 dollars. I asked a store clerk (a man working in that department)if the tiller really was 100.00 dollars. He then went and told me he checked and it really was 100.00 dollars.

I told him I would buy it so, he took it up to the register so I could pay for it. When I got there and I started to pay for it the department manager came over and told me I couldnt have the tiller for a 100.00dollars I had to pay 275.00. When it had an advertised prise of 100.00 dollars on it. She humiliated me in front of the other customers. So, I`m gonna sue Wal-Mart for false advertising.

I have noticed that Wal-Mart is starting to screw the consumer on cut backs of their Great Value Brands. I was buying the 13 gallon tall kitchen bags quantity 55 per box. I now noticed that they have cut the quantity down to 45 per box and the price has gone up about 28 cents also. Thank You Wal-Mart for cheating the consumers and still increasing the price. I think I will start shopping at Target from now on. They have better products anyway. The prices have become pretty competitive also. Consumers be ware. Check the size of can goods also. They are slowly making the cans smaller. Coffee, sugar, flour. Items such as these are being reduced and the price is being increased.

I just purchased a product at Walmart. When I was being checked out the price on the package was 99 cents and it checked out higher on my receipt. This has happened to me twice. I am wondering how often this happens to others.

Let me tell you how angry I am. When you see this store tell you it's the mfg. fault, but you see that they have cut the weight of this animal food, at 20lbs to 18lbs, and then raise the price of this food from 25 cents to 50 cents a WEEK. When the price of fuel has dropped to half it's price, and their making up their stock options, on our backs, when the ecomony is so bad. HOW TARE THEY DO THIS. I've SEEN WAL-MART JACK UP THE PRICE AT THE SCANNERS, AT LEAST 1, AND YOU HAVE TO FIGHT TOOTH AND NAIL, TO GET THE PRICE ON THE SHELF. I'm glad people are starting to cautch on, I'm hoping more do. Wal-Mart is not your friend.

I buy less food, and get some food from the food bank, and it's every thing I can do to take care of my dogs who protect and love me, and their getting old,and I have to buy some canned dog food, to help them out. I wonder how many people can't even do this because of their bills. BUT Wal-Mart can rip us off.

Gary of Cedartown, GA March 25, 2009

I live in Polk County Georgia. In Polk County we have two Wal-Mart stores and I usually go to Wal-Mart in Cedartown but one day last week I went to the Wal-Mart in Rockmart which is about 20 minutes away. I went in and bought some fish and I noticed that the price was ten cents cheaper. And I would like to know how come the prices are different in the two stores. The cost of living is basically the same and I just don't understand why the prices are so different.

I bought a daisy pellet rifle in Cedartown and when I was in Rockmart I noticed the one in Rockmart was about 10.00 cheaper. I don't believe that the prices in Rockmart should be that noticeably different. I am glad that the people in Rockmart are getting cheap prices for their stuff but shouldn't everyone in the same county pay the same thing for the things that they buy.

I feel like Wal-Mart is ripping people off and taking advantage of everyone because there is no where else locally to go that has the same amount of different products readily available at one store. One stop shopping is a good thing in today's economy because we don't all have the extra gas money that it would take to go to the different stores to buy the products that Wal-Mart offers in one store.
