Sag Harbor Pharmacy |

Maria of sag Harbor , NY October 28, 2009 I had a prescription filled on 9/16/09 at sag harbor pharmacy as i have been doing for prozac. This past month i have not been feeling myself very deppresed. I called to refill my proscription 10/28/09 and the pharmisist told me that i dont have a prozac prescription to refill i had a prilosec precription. When i told him i had never taken that he told me "oh i must have mislabled your prescription but i put the prozac in the bottle"When i got home and told my husband we looked at the bottle and it was omeprazole bottle that i remember pulling the seal off of. The parmacy just put their sticer on it. my husband then called the pharmacist and asked him again what happened he then lied agian and said that he mislabled the prescription but it was filled correct. When my husband then told him he was holding the bottle marked omeprazole from the factory that was sealed when it was given he then admited it was not prozac that i had been taking the whole month but stomach medication and he was sorry. I really think this is very unprofesional and border line malpractice if not just for the fact it could have killed me if it were something else but he lied about it to try and cover up the mistake. |
