I became a member of cashle.com. At first I loved it. Within a few days I had made a little over 7 and had 3 referrals to the site. Cashle also owns another site called points2shop.com. There is free offers you complete to earn money and there are point offers you can complete to collect points and earn things from amazon.com. I decided to try to complete a points offer my 3rd day as a member to try it out. I was directed to their point2shop registration page. It tells you that you will be redirected to that page so it didn't surprise me. It asked me to register saying i wasn't a member so i did.
Within an our or so my money I had earned dropped down to next to nothing then all of a sudden I was no longer able to access anything and it said i was blocked from their website. I was no longer able to get into the help section of the forums, access contact info, or make any changes to my account. All I could do is submit a trouble ticket which of course i did. I did searches on the internet for rules and regs on the site since i could no longer access anything on either of their websites. I finally did find some through my search. As it turns out you cannot have both a cashle AND a point2shop account even though i was automatically directed to the point2shop page and it told me i needed to register.
When i wrote my trouble ticket i made them aware of this. The person who was helping me had the screenname snapgirls. Most of the replies were very rude i got from my trouble tickets and made it seem like there's no way i should not have know this. Finally they stated they would unblock my account but i needed to verify my account by sending them a picture of my drivers license and a bill showing my correct address. They stated I could block out any info such as account numbers if I wanted to. I'm not comfortable with that. I don't understand why i need that to verify my account when they had orignally verified it with my phone number.
Not only did they take away the money I spent time on to earn they had no problem keeping the 3 referrals I brought them. Unfortunately because i have no access to the site i'm not able to email them to warn them. I attempted to report them to the better business bureau. But the BBB requires that you have a physical street address which I am unable to locate.
loss of money earned on the site, unable to delete personal info from site.
The company responds:
I'm very sorry to hear that you have experienced any rudeness. Cashle strives to keep all members happy, and active on cashle.
We have very active members and you can, at any time, see and interact with other members if you join.
We do not like closing accounts anymore than you like to receive one. In tickets we try to resolve any issues prior to keeping a user banned.
If during the fixing of an issue, another issue arises, there is nothing more we can do. We worked with you even after you opened more accounts.
We did ask you to verify, but we never received any reply from you. We ask for a Drivers License/bill, but can also accept other things in place of those.
The purpose of verifying is to be sure that the user is who they say they are. Phone verification has been removed due to the lack of security offered.
I sincerely apologize if any replies to your ticket came across as rude. We never intend to make members feel disrespected or mistreated in any way.
As long as members read, understand, and agree to our rules they should have no issue; even if something small arises, we\'ll try to fix it.
If anyone feels compelled to investigate the site I encourage you to interact in the shoutbox. Furthermore, if you decide to engage in shoutbox you can join, receive a 0.50 bonus that you can cashout immediately (without doing anything else) to see that we payout.
I hope this helps the original poster understand more about the reasoning of their ban, and reveal some light on the issue for others reading.
