CashMyPhone

Melissa of Brooklyn, NY January 15, 2009

I heard about this site on the local news broadcast and thought i would give them a try. Back in june of 2008 I mailed them my T-mobile sidekick they stated the amount I would be paid was 100. On june 23 2008 the said my phone was received. The never responded to my email inquiries and I never received payment. I also emailed them to have my phone sent back and that went ignored as well.

This company boasts of purchasing old cellphones and paying via cheqs. I had sent through my Nokia phone and was emailed to let me know that my phone was received and was being tested. Later on, their website showed that the phone was approved for a 125.00 refund. They never sent the cheq or ever replied back to any of the emails.

This company operates as a not for profit and poses to be saving the environment by doing some kind of recycling of cellphones. They are a complete fraud and it is due to these type of firms that we lose faith in the real folks who are actualy working to help the environment. I could care less for the 125 over the past year, but the mere thought of them scamsters is disturbing.

Dawn of Hawley, PA December 7, 2007

This company buy old cel phones. I placed an order for the purchase of my old phones on 9/29/07. As instructed I mailed out 8 cel phones. They were received on 10/04/07. Four phones were disqualified for not being in full working order. The other 4 phones were qualified on 10/25/07.

As per their web site account records, a check for 120.00 was issued on 10/30/07. To date I have not received that payment. Several e-mails to the company resulted in, first, a promise that the check will be mailed, second, I was told it's in the mail, last, I receive no answer at all to current e-mails.

This company received phones from me with a promise to purchase them for 120. They have the phones, I didn't get paid. This is a scam!
