Just writing to ask if you've received any complaints about credit card purchases for "Inet Moscow," (complete with foreign currency exchange information on the statement itself). I had two such charges on my statement this month, spaced one day apart, and I do not for the life of me recall any foreign purchases of such a nature.
I do make a number of internet purchases but I think I would have recalled two specific instances where I would have ordered a product or service from Russia (one for $10.25 and the other for $15.49). I made an inquiry with my credit card company and they are sending me a dispute form, but the person I spoke with told me that she recalled a similar complaint involving Moscow that she had received earlier.
We have noticed a growing amount of "spam" email from Russia. To put it mildly, Russia's regulatory environment is rather fluid at the moment. It's quite possible we'll soon see an outbreak of scams and fraudulent billings from our ".ru" friends.
