I
went to a seminar in Secaucus to find out about the company
in question. They talked a smooth talk and had me signed in
. I supposedly covered myself by using my credit card and having
them give me 72 hrs. to get a refund.
I
later learned that I got scammed. The numbers given to me
never put me through to anything but a voice mail loop. So
I contacted the credit card company to complain about not
receiving the service and wanting a refund.
Somehow
6 months later the credit card company sent a letter that
I was responsible for the $500 since I broke breech of contract
and the company sent them "proof". I was told to
contact them directly to discuss the matter. Again I got nothing
but voice mails and not one phone call back.
I
was looking for a home. I barely had the cash for deposit
and closing fees as it was. I was out $500 for nothing, I
was told by this company that this deposit would go toward
closing cost. It was as they called it a good-will check.
