Unfortunately I didnt do my homework until it was too late. I received a credit approval in the mail for a platinum credit card and all I had to do was mail them a check for $49.00 and they would send me the card. Come to find they cashed my check immediately and it turns out that there is not credit card. They claim they are sending me a catologue with $5,000 limit to purchase their own products. This is not clearly stated on the acceptance certificate.

Somehow these people are getting away with this and I would like to stop them. If you can assist me with this process I would truly appreciate it and would like to know what else I can do to stop this from continueing to happen to innocent people.

I am out $49.00 which may not seem like much to most people but it's a whole lot to me. I am raising a 1yr old little girl and I work 24/7 as it is. I am a hard working, law abiding citizen and cannot afford to be scammed in this way.

They sent me an application for a $5,000 credit card and they said to send $49, which they cashed and they never sent me the card.

April of Wilmington CA (4/23/02):
I replied to an approval notice for a credit card. My check was cashed and I haven't heard anything from the company. I paid for rush delivery but I haven't received anything. The letter did not provide a phone number and I have been on the internet to find a way to contact them but haven't found one phone number. I am afraid that I will not see a credit card and the company just got my money.

I work for minimum wage and am a single mother. I cannot afford to just spend money like this. Although I only paid $49.00 it was a huge burden to me.

Kim of Attleboro MA (8/30/01):
I received an "acceptance certificate" from PCF which informed me that I could receive a credit card for an annual fee of $45.00. I decided to use this because I am trying to rebuild my credit and it's difficult to get a credit card. Roughly 2 weeks after I sent off for this card, I received a package in the mail. It was a card and a catalog. I was only able to use this card to purchase items from their catalog. This was NOT what I was expecting nor what had been indicated I would receive.
