Douglas of Lenoir, NC April 29, 2006

Douglas of Lenoir, NC (04/29/06)
TLGJUSTFORME charged a credit card, that I have never had, for 89.99.  I tried to get this resolved, with no success, for 3 months.  They put me on hold and never picked back up.

I think HSBC card services is apparently in with this company because they charged me for this transaction, plus an annual fee.  I have never requested or received a HSBC Gold Mastercard.

This has been a lot of stress and 89.99 that I can't afford.

Eight months ago I bought an airline ticket online from one of the many online airline ticketing services. Supposedly, I in-turn also agreed to become a member of the Trilegient Corporation with their service of "Great Fun". I didn't realize this until four months later when a charge of 9.99 from TLG*GREATFN appeared on my account. I called the bank to find out that I had actually been charged the 9.99 for the past three months and hadn't noticed.

My bank provided me with a phone number to call so that I could cancel the charges. That was four months ago. Every month I call 1-877-488-9480 and I speak with a customer service representative who assures me that they will take care of the problem. They tell me how sorry they are that I am unhappy with their service and they would like to send out some free coupons to help compensate for the money I have lost due to their monthly service fee.

I was charged 119.99 on my Chase Visa on 4/13/06. I called my credit card company and the rep gave me the phone number for TRILEGIANT. I spoke to someone who informed me the reason I was charges is because I got a check from Chase in February and cashed it.

I didn't read the fine print that said if I cashed the check I was automatically enrolling in this TLGJUSTFORME program.

They said they would remove the charge.

Our VISA was billed 89.99 from this company as "TLG Great Fun". Knowing that we had not purchased anything on that date, we contacted them several times, being disconnected when asked to speak to supervisors, or questioning what the charges were for. Finally one person said we purchased 4 tickets from TicketMaster and got 10 off (which we did not do) and this supposedly enrolled us in their "great fun" program. This is totally bogus and did not happen. We did not agree to sign up for any program, nor did we purchase any tickets through Ticketmaster receiving money off. They said that they would refund the funds, but we shall see.
