Douglas of Englewood, OH May 26, 2009 My wife and I purchased a Kingsley patio and chairs from Kroger in Englewood Ohio in May of 2009. They cost 750.00 I put them together and placed it on the rear patio. One week later the glass exploded for no reason at all. My wife called me and told me what happend. I could not beleave it. We where wondering how we where going to explain this to Kroger and the manufacturer. My wife called Kroger they thought our story sounded untrue. They did give us a new glass top. I called the manufacture Courtyard Creations in Woodbridge,On canada they said they had not received any complaints about this product but sent us a top as well. DHL delivered the new top about 4 weeks later the driver told me they must have had a defect in these tops. He had 4 of these to deliver that day,and 3 the previous day. So now I know that their is a problem with the manufacturing of these table tops. I sure am thankful that me or anyone was not sitting at this table when it happend. We dont feel safe now that we know this is a hazzard for everyone. My kids and my self have been stepping on the glass and getting cut or glass splenters in our feet. Now we are wearing shoes at all times. It is a pain because we have a pool and have to keep taking our shoes off and on every time we go swimming. Howard of New Castle, IN May 18, 2009 I asked the employees on duty to get a brownie(s) from the case... I was told no, I was informed they had no time to help me come back tomorrow. I then came home and called the store, I asked for the customer service phone number and the lady on the phone told it is too late... and told me no she will not give it to me. I asked for her name she then told me "it did not matter" then hung the phone up on me... I have proof from my detailed billing,and I do not appriciate the attitude of the employees @ the store. I shop at kroger, yet; if this is the attitude of the company I will shop @ wal-mart... peggy of Texas City, TX April 24, 2009 It was around or about 415 on thrusday april 23 2009 Im won 330 on lottery im went to cash in so im could put some money my metro card first thing she holla im dont that much money today is paid day she was rude if cant cash lottery winner why sell lottery and Debra of Viriginia Beach, VA April 23, 2009 I was buing some candy. The signs were 2 for 1.00. They did not have the sign up for the kind of candy I wanted. So one would assume that all were for 2 for 1.00. As it came out the price was more. My problem is, that if they have a sign for all the rest of the product then there should be a sign there also. I did not buy it for that reason. That is one way to make more money on a customer. I was very dissapointed, my Mother would have paid for it but the store is not dealing with he , which is 86 years and can't see the signs. She is one not to make a fuss , but I am. Please correct this matter or we will shop else where.
