My wife and I purchased a Kingsley patio and chairs from Kroger in Englewood Ohio in May of 2009. They cost 750.00 I put them together and placed it on the rear patio. One week later the glass exploded for no reason at all. My wife called me and told me what happend. I could not beleave it. We where wondering how we where going to explain this to Kroger and the manufacturer. My wife called Kroger they thought our story sounded untrue. They did give us a new glass top.

I called the manufacture Courtyard Creations in Woodbridge,On canada they said they had not received any complaints about this product but sent us a top as well. DHL delivered the new top about 4 weeks later the driver told me they must have had a defect in these tops. He had 4 of these to deliver that day,and 3 the previous day.

So now I know that their is a problem with the manufacturing of these table tops. I sure am thankful that me or anyone was not sitting at this table when it happend. We dont feel safe now that we know this is a hazzard for everyone. My kids and my self have been stepping on the glass and getting cut or glass splenters in our feet. Now we are wearing shoes at all times. It is a pain because we have a pool and have to keep taking our shoes off and on every time we go swimming. I asked the employees on duty to get a brownie(s) from the case... I was told no, I was informed they had no time to help me come back tomorrow. I then came home and called the store, I asked for the customer service phone number and the lady on the phone told it is too late... and told me no she will not give it to me. I asked for her name she then told me "it did not matter" then hung the phone up on me... I have proof from my detailed billing,and I do not appriciate the attitude of the employees @ the store. I shop at kroger, yet; if this is the attitude of the company I will shop @ wal-mart...

I was buing some candy. The signs were 2 for 1.00. They did not have the sign up for the kind of candy I wanted. So one would assume that all were for 2 for 1.00. As it came out the price was more. My problem is, that if they have a sign for all the rest of the product then there should be a sign there also. I did not buy it for that reason. That is one way to make more money on a customer. I was very dissapointed, my Mother would have paid for it but the store is not dealing with he , which is 86 years and can't see the signs. She is one not to make a fuss , but I am. Please correct this matter or we will shop else where.

My complaint is with Kroger credit card a part of Ralph Grocers. They have a credit card I have had for over two years and have always paid on time but for some reason I guess because Iam always at my limit they dropped my limit down. Even thou I am never late. The problem is I never realized that they have this trick of getting people to pay a late payment by setting the the payment due date before the statement date this is very confusing . This way the payment due date comes and you are not aware of it and then your statement comes a few days later and your payment due is on it but it has already passed and then you are charged a 30.00 late fee because you did not pay it.

I called them and told them I was going to report this and they said this was legal. The reason it only happened to me this last time was because I would go on the computer before and see the due date and go ahead and pay the account but for the month of March I didn't do this and they caught me for the late fee and I was very upset and asked them to take it off and they refused. Not only did they charge me but it took me over my limit and they tacked on another late fee.

This should be illegal what they are doing with these statements. They are hiding the due date and then showing it on the statement after it has passed so if you were to wait until you received your statement to pay your bill you would be already late and would have to pay the 30.00 late charge. I asked them how they could send out a statement with a due date that had already passed and expect someone to have already pay it. It would be close to impossible unless you did like I use to do in going on the computer and taking a look or have a crystal ball. They should not be allowed to get away with this. This is a blatant theft.

In this economy I can not afford their arrogance and complete disregard for human kind.

My son picked up 3 prescriptions. then my dr called in another after he picked it up. so I called when i got home. the next day they kept saying they didnt have it. i called my dr again. he said he called it in and he would do it again. so I called back and after asking do they have anything in the bin they finallyt said yes it was filled yesterday. now its 830 because finally someonw decided to check the bin anhd not the comnputer. I have beenj doing business with that pharmacy for over 20yrs and after lewis left over 10yrs ago the courteoues and concern and kindness left with him.

I have been a customer of Kroger's for almost 30 years and have had only a handful of complaints about purchased items, i.e.: milk spoiling within 2 days (expiration date was at least 1-2 weeks); bread molding within a few days; hot, fully cooked whole chicken from deli dry; and possibly a few that were nothing and not worth remembering.

Today topped it. I recently purchased a few Kroger brand raw whole fryer chickens, they were marked at 89 per pound. Upon opening the heavy plastic that encases the chicken, I immediately pulled out the thick paper packet within the chicken, I believe this is what Kroger calls the giblets. I was shocked and slightly stunned upon opening the thick paper wrapping. Within the wrapping was NOT giblets. A partial piece of chicken neck, 2 inches long, and not one BUT TWO fatty neck skins, which are about 6 inches in length. I do not know about everyone else, but what do you do with NECK SKIN and fat? Other than possibly boil it down for broth, or God forbid - fry it and eat it, maybe feed it to a hungry pet?

The outer bag notes, and I quote PARTS OF GIBLETS MAY BE MISSING, this would fine as is... MISSING, but not stuffed with items that are not considered usable. I believe these were placed to add extra weight to the bird, thus costing the consumer additional unnecessary money, especially now in this economic struggle. I look forward to defrosting the second chicken I purchased. Wonder if it has been padded for profit.

I am not certain if Kroger has their own processing plant for items such as these chickens, if they do own/run them, they need to correct this, give the customer/consumer what is promised. If Kroger purchases from a vendor, Kroger is paying a higher price than necessary and passing it along to us. In the end, I just wish giblets were giblets.
