As a single senior, I don't cook but I buy lots of dinners and eat about 2 dinners a day. Theresa of Ludlow Falls, OH September 26, 2008
Theresa of Ludlow Falls OH (09/26/08) I phone in a prescription for my 18 year old step-daughter, and a day later went to pick it up and received her bag with her name on it. Later on in the evening, Kroger calls on caller id, wanting to speak to her, I advised she wasn't home, she said have her call them. I asked them if they wanted to speak to her father, the lady said no, but could I see if I could locate the pharmacy bag. I said yes, she said look to see whose name was on the bottle.
I saw it was a different persons name, and it had high blood pressure medication in it. and she asked me to return it. and when I did they acted unconcerned, and what is strange, her bottle and this guys bottle was filled by two different drugest personell and on 2 different days.
I am very upset over this due to if she would have taken the medication, she only weighs 118 lbs and 18 with normal blood pressure. and the man is around 65 and over weight, I feel this could have caused her to die! Heather of Carrollton, GA September 15, 2008
Heather of Carrollton GA (09/15/08) I called in to the Kroger Pharmacy Saturday night 9/13/08 and re-filled my prescription. I talked to the gentelman and he said that he had taken care of it and spoken to my doctor about refilling the expired prescription. I has just used my last one.He told me that it would be ready shortly. Today 9/15 I came into the Kroger in Carrollton and tried to pay for my prescription, and the women working behind the counter were clueless. They acted like there was no man that worked in the pharmacy, could not locate my prescription, then stood there and scratched their heads for a few minutes. After standing still they found a crinkled piece of paper, that supposively they had written down, or in their words documented that they had called my doctor and had not been able to get in touch.
After i left frustrated I called my own doctor, in other words having to do their job for them, and my doctor had never recieved a call or a fax from them, as they had previously told me. When i asked to speak to a manager they told me that there was no manager over the Pharmacy and that there was nothing they could do for me. When I called the Pharmacy back to tell them that my doctor had not recieved a fax or a call the older woman that had spoken with me at the store smarted off well we documented it, we have it right here (speaking of the wrinkled up paper she showed to me while i was in the store) and then rudely hung up on me with no apology or resolution that they would now try and contact my doctor, since i had gotten in touch with them prior to calling her back.
I Had to call cooperate and still have not heard anything from Kroger Pharmacy although my doctor said that they faxed them the refill prescription hours ago. I do not think the Pharmacy employees got any sort of punishment for their rudeness and horrible customer service. They did not call me when the prescription wasn't ready and let me drive up there without knowing, did not contact my doctor, and did not contact me once the prescription was ready! Patricia of Houston, TX September 12, 2008
Patricia of Houston TX (09/12/08) On the late afternoon of 09/09/08 I purchased some chicken wings for 10.06 & chicken legs for 4.39 from Kroger. I went straight home, since I am disabled and do not get out much. When I got home I started to prepare to seperate the chicken pieces and put them in plastic freezer bags to get them ready for the freezer. When I opened the packages I bought from Kroger, the stench hit me in the face. All of the chicken pieces are spoiled. I was shocked, because I have always known Kroger for their fresh meat and produce.
I have not been able to return my purchase, so I froze the pieces until I can return them, which will be after the hurricane passes over Houston. Very disappointed in Kroger. I want my money back and they can have their spoiled chicken back. I am a 67 yr old disabled female on a fixed income. Do not have 14.45 to throw in garbage because of someone's negligence.
