Tracy of Columbus, OH February 21, 2009

Tracy of Columbus OH (02/21/09)
This company has been harrassing me by telepone. I am on the do not call list and told the woman that I was not. She responded that I had filled out an internet form asking for more information, which was untrue. I have never completed any internet form for additional information from this company. I told her I was on the do not call list and to immediately take my telepone number off their list. I am receiving telephone calls from this company on a daily basis (I have caller id so know who is calling). If I do answer the phone to tell them to stop calling, there is silence and then a hang up. If I call the number back to tell them I will register a complaint, the phone rings and then is hung up.

I want to register a complaint and have them immediately stop calling me. If they continue to call, I want monetary compensation because they are directly going against my wishes, even after telling them that they should take me off their calling list, they are calling me every day as a form of harrassment.

First of all, My husband and daughter were just in a motorcycle accident prior to this telephone call which resulted in the purchase of the vacation package. The customer service representative was very persistant, and i felt very pressured, i was also told i had to pay half right then by credit card, etc. and i, at the time i don't feel i could make a sound decision, still upset from my husband now being off work due to injury, my youngest daughter in physiotherapy , along with the need for something sounding too good to be true, i ended up convinced to charge 1/2 of the vacation price on my mastercard.

As of now , my husband is still off work and in therapy, my daughter still in therapy and and its now a year and a half later. Experiencing the reduction in income, debts accrued from the loss of wages due to the accident, i find myself trying to think of how i'm supposed to even think about a vacation and totop it off now my husband has moved out as of January 1st, 2009. Therefoe the thought of a family vacation is just an upsetting idea to my children and myself since it would have been meant for the family.

i have since been paying interest on the amount charged at over 20%, an ddo not foresee possibility of any ability to pay for the other half of the vacation.

We first purchased this trip over the phone in Dec 05, then June of 07 we paid the balance and thought we had 36 months to use the trip. They contacted me on Feb 14,2009 and informed that I HAD to give them a cc # and pay 890.00 more for this trip or it would be lost forever and rude rude rude! Would not give me any explantion of why I had to pay it and why I was going to loose it.

So on Monday Feb 16, 2009 I called back and they said I didn't owe anymore money but I had lost the vacation because I didn't travel before Dec 08. Which was news to me. So basically I lost 1600.00 with this deal.

Anna of La Habra, CA February 14, 2009

I purchased an Imperial Majesty Gold Key vacation back in 2004.I paid an initial deposit of 698 and I still have a remaining balance of another 698 and must be paid in full before making the reservations.I havent taken this vacation yet and so I kept on paying for the extension of this package since they said I cannot refund anymore the initial deposit I made.

I wasn't able to take the vacation because this is a gift for my parents and I was still waiting for them to come over in the US since i've been petitioning them. Now,I was researching over the internet and I've read a lot of complaints about this vacation.I decided not to take that vacation anymore since I don't want my parents to experience the same frustrations and disappointments other people experienced during this vacation in paradise. Now,I really want my initial deposit back,I don't want to keep on paying to extend this vacation package anymore. Is there any way I can have my money back?

Becky of Estevan, SK February 5, 2009

I recieved a message on my machine saying I had won a free cruise on Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines, all I had to do was call 1-800-519-7502. The woman employee #KB6584 was very pleasent but I was sceptical and she sensed that; I explained the call I recieved last month and everything she was offering was identical to the prior offer. I said I was waiting for her to ask for my credit card number to which I was not going to give out no matter what.

She put me through to her Manager, who became quite aggressive and rude, throwing accusations, turning my fears of credit card fraud into a personal vandeta against me; he degraded my values and made me feel I was a criminal for not willing to freely give out my credit card. Who is the real criminal here? I thought a free cruise was free. I have stayed at Ramada hotels in the past but never again, not after the way I was treated this evening by this Manager representing them.
