Recently stayed at the Rodeway inn fort LAUDERDALE. We paid for in advance to get transfers from cruise ship dock to airport. When the driver arrived we had nowhere to sit in the shuttle and was expected to stand all the way to the airport. We did not pay for that kind of service and they refused to give us a refund. We paid cash for 5 transfers. The driver arrived 1hr late and said we refused to get on the shuttle. He did not say we did not have any seats. The hotel itself was very low budget. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. Very disappointed with the entire experience.

This place isn't even worth $20 a day. Here's why: normally I never do reviews but I am for this place. So I made a mistake when booking this place and hit the wrong dates. So when we went to correct it we were told wed be charged $75 plus charged another $75 for the right date. So I paid for 2 days instead of one. Now the room I booked was a king size room. We had to check out at 11am to sit around til 3pm to check back in. They put us into the same room and they didn't even clean it!!! And now this lady is just staring at me. I didn't want to come here to begin with. Now I paid for a king size room and I'm getting the back side room that's run down at a higer price that's dirty and disgusting because now I know they didnt clean it before we got here yesterday. Now why did we have to check out at 11am and not check back in until 3pm??? They are rude here.

I had a wonderful experience at Rodeway. The manager went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Will definitely stay there again. It's clean and quiet and close to restaurants and shopping. And they're pet-friendly.

We booked on Priceline, very dated. Looks like the place was abandoned and someone bought it without even checking room to ensure they were livable. First room 137, walk in to see room safety lock was laying outside like someone kicked in the door. No towels or soap and a fridge full of food, room dirty with mold in BR. When to buy soap and when returned I asked to be put in a different room due to safety. Moves us to room 134 that didn’t even have a room number on the door or door trim allowing us to sit inside and see our truck parked outside through the door. This too have evidence of door kicked in. Sheets had stains and what looked like bed bugs, grease on walls and everything covered in dirt.

Called Priceline. They asked us to talk with manager on refund who already said no refund. After speaking with Priceline supervisor they advised us to check out and they would call owners in morning to let us know status. I’m out $224 and the manager fights with us, would not give a receipt or accept is checking out. His wife comes down offering a. Inside room. We stated no. It wasn’t safe or clean. Many excuses given but wouldn't make it right. Stay way clear of this place. Unless you like horror movies and bugs.

I can’t believe this is a Choice hotel. Choice’s standards are going downhill! As soon as we walked in the room we noticed dirt all over the floor. Stands and table were dusty. Black mold around one side of the mat in the tub. Also black mold on the wall and ceiling above the shower. Handle in the shower was put in backwards and the shower head hardly had any pressure. Bed had hairs in it. The breakfast is not very good. Same thing everyday, sausage gravy. No yogurt, no fresh fruit or eggs. Thought about changing rooms but we didn’t. Husband says it will work because he has to stay in the area for work. No one should have to deal with this!

I've been staying with the Rodeway Inn located in Barboursville, WV for over six months now. When I tell you that I have watched the new owners take this hotel, and day by day, change the entire energy of this place, it's an understatement. This place has reviews that do not justify the truthfulness of it. I have given it some bad ones, but if I could take them back, I would. The staff here is friendly and genuinely will stay after their shifts to make sure everything you're supposed to have and then some. I had a personal problem, where my check from work was lost. Not only did I not get kicked out, the owner took it upon himself to ask every day if we were okay and to reassure us that things would get better. The owner Mr. H has significantly taken control of this hotel and made the food better, hired amazing staff, and shown that he was the right person to come here and take a dirty work hotel and turn it into a hotel I can call home.

This place is Wi-Fi. Goes out every other day. Power as well. Daytime hookers everywhere. The rooms the smell like mold They had a so called update which is just a microwave and a newer model tv Not worth an extra hundred dollars a week And if you want your security deposit back you might as well kiss that goodbye because they make up any excuse to keep it And for some reason I thought it was a good idea to put two sinks Next to each other 1. 4 the bathroom and 1. 4 the kitchen smh The bathroom is so small. You can't sit on the toilet and shut the door at the same time. If you gotta spend your money, go to the Wood Springs or seek and select somewhere else. It is not worth five hundred dollars a week

I booked 4 days at Rodeway Inn Coral Gables and had to leave after 2 days. The posted sign said not to flush sanitary toilet paper to toilet leaving excrement on tissue in unsealed bin, exposed, and making it very unsanitary. In addition, this was to be a disabled room equipped and all the floors were torn severely making it difficult to wait. The floors were dirty. The hotel did not provide drinking water or deliveries of water to rooms, they claimed against rules. The parking required you go a flight up or down. I have pictures. I requested refund for early termination. No luck! I am going to sanitary authorities.

We booked Rodeway for July 25th as we were going to see Seinfeld at OLG Stage. Arrived @ 3:30 and were told our room was not ready but would be "soon". This "soon" carried on for close to 4 hours and we didn't get into our room # 255 until 7:00pm. We found the carpet very dirty and badly worn and there was a blood stain on the top sheet on one of the beds. My partner found it very odd as well, that the draw sheet was placed on top of the duvet so there wasn't anything separating your body from the actual duvet. When asked about it, they claimed they washed all duvets daily which we really found suspect.

Bottom line we wasted 4 hours of our time going there back & forth seeing if our room was ready & had they just told us the truth when we arrived we would have gone sightseeing. I would never stay here again, the beds are very soft & well worn out and I wouldn't recommend Rodeway to anyone. The place is very run down and actually should be inspected - period. My booking was through Expedia (confirmation attached).

This property is now "Rodeway Inn", the change happened after I booked. The carpet was dirty in the hallways and the room. We arrived to a soaked carpet near the A/C, which ended up being fixed while we were out on July 4th, and a big fan put in the room to dry it up. I'm so glad I travel with disposable towels, because the bath towels were disgusting, as was the mold around the shower area and filth around the toilet; we showered in flip-flops. The only thing that worked right was the microwave and fridge.

The room stayed damp, but air had to stay on; clothing we left out to wear when we left Sunday were damp, it was so disgusting! The sheets were never changed, the room was never cleaned, and I took our full garbage cans down to the front desk because they share a dumpster with the Waffle House across the way, so the young lady at the desk said she'd take it. I ended up dumping it in the trash cans in the lobby per the employee's approval. The biggest insult is the amount of money we spent staying in this snake pit, but there were no other rooms anywhere due to the holiday.

The sad part is the staff was OUTSTANDING!!!! If I knew better, I'd have eaten the price of my airline ticket & just canceled, because initially I was told I didn't even have a room reserved. I will NEVER book another hotel without a super fine-tooth comb search beforehand. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, YOU'LL BE SORRY!

Hotel Avenida, one of the Rodeway Inns, at 1301 N El Camino Real San Clemente, CA 92672. On Mon 4/28/25, about 11pm, I tried to book a room. I googled Hotel Avenida, San Clemente, but instead of seeing the hotel website, I was immediately redirected to Priceline’s website, which quoted a rate of $89/night. Then, after I booked the room, the rate was shown as $118/night. I was never asked whether I wanted a SMOKING or NON-SMOKING room. Priceline sent me an email saying: Hotel Phone Number: 347-752-4172. That area code is in New York City, so I called that number. The employee I spoke to was very difficult to understand, and had a heavy accent. He also said that my room was SMOKING. I told him that I wanted a NON-SMOKING room. He told me to call the hotel directly, and he gave me the hotel phone number (area code 949), which I called. The employee there said I needed to talk to Priceline.

Again, I called the 347 number, and again got an employee who was very difficult to understand, and he told me to call the hotel directly, so I did, but now it was a little after 12 midnight, and there was no answer. Tue 4/29 3:45 pm I called the hotel, and was finally told that no NON-SMOKING rooms were available, so I cancelled my reservation, and went to another hotel. But by then, it was too late, and I forfeited over $300. Notice that Priceline’s email gave several different cancellation deadlines: "Cancellation Policy:" This rate is fully refundable if cancelled within 24 hours of booking. If cancelled after 24 hours, the following policy applies: This booking is fully refundable if you cancel before 2025-04-29 11:59 PM. This booking is Non-refundable after 2025-04-30 12:00 AM. This booking is Non-refundable after 2025-05-03 12:00 AM. This booking is Non-refundable after 2025-05-02 11:59 PM. "

When the reservation was made, the gentleman was polite, friendly & professional. He honored the “Hotel Tonight” rate even though I didn’t use the app. The room was acceptable & matched the online photos & description. When it came time to showering, my traveling partner woke up at 4:00 am & no hot water in the sink or shower. He let the water run for about 10 minutes & it never warmed up, so he took a cold shower.

When I woke up at 6:00 am, no hot water. I went to the front desk & let him know. He said there were only 2 water heaters for the entire building. I said that no hot water (not even lukewarm) was unacceptable & NOT my problem. It was very cold water. I asked if I could use a shower in another room. He gave me another room key & when I unlocked the door & turned the light on, I was surprised to find people in the two beds. I dashed out, went back to the desk & and told him there were people in the room. He gave me another room key. After letting the water run for a good 15 minutes, no hot water.

The gentleman at the front desk then said that there are a lot of “** workers” staying at the hotel & they get up early at 4:00 or 5:00 am to get ready for work. I again said it was unacceptable & not my problem!!! By this time I was tired of hauling my shower supplies & clothing from room to room. He finally took me to an entirely different wing & the water was “blazing hot”! But by this time my traveling partner was worried sick that I had been abducted. He went to the front desk & said that I had reported no hot water & had not returned. Forty-five minutes had elapsed. They showed him to the room I was in & he was genuinely worried & said he felt sick to his stomach. We had a 9 to 10 hour drive & it really set us back. Such an inconvenience! I’d think twice about staying here.

So I am the owner of a well established plumbing business out of Toledo Ohio. We are doing a large project near South Point Ohio. I sent my son & one my foremen to get a room. They was to pay for two weeks & check available rooms for Wed. I was sending 8 more men for a 2 month stay. The lady at front desk told them to get out. She wasn't giving them room because my foreman forgot his ID. Room was in company name, paid with company card & my son had his ID. So they call tell me. I call, tell her who I am & start explaining what my son had told me. She stopped me mid sentence, called me liar, said I was one that tried check in & hung up. Wow lol so I call back. Maybe speak to owner or her boss. No she answers & tells me she calling cops & hung up again. So they are losing out on about 9 rooms for a month & 1/2 maybe longer. Fire her before she bankrupts your place!!!

RODEWAY INN Phoenix north I-17. VERY BAD PLACE. LOT OF HOMELESS AND DRUG ADDICTS AROUND. Never ever book this hotel. It's a scam. I have booked this hotel 2 rooms for me and my elderly parents through Priceline. When I reached there at night the receptionist suggested me that this hotel is not safe for family with kids and elder people.

She suggested me to take another hotel and ask me to check with Priceline for refund. I found lot of homeless people around and also drug addicts. I also didn't feel safe. So I left and took another hotel with last minute high price. When I contacted Priceline and complained about it they said they will check with hotel. When pPriceline checked with hotel they simply denied the fact. I just lost all my booking amount. I would never go there if I ever read the review of this hotel before booking. I would never recommend this place. This place sould have been shut down.

Do not stay at this hotel in Front St. Temecula Ca. Reserved a room from 7/22 to 7/25. I could not sleep or rest. The room next to ours was full of youngsters knocking on the door at very early morning and various times for others to open the door and to let them in. The room could not have been reserved for so many kids. They came up the stairs on high heels cascading the sound of it on the wood stairs. They were loud. I called a male Rodeway Inn clerk to come and talk to them. Three times. Rodeway Inn did not do anything and did not care. Why false advertisement? The description on the Priceline booking said that the hotel provides breakfast. Upon checking in the clerk said there was no breakfast and the the owner already knew that it was advertised that way.
