The Spa Finder Company 91 Fifth Avenue, New York,NY 10003

Ann of Brooklyn, NY, writes:
In September of 2000, I called Spa Finders to book a spa in Spain. I spoke with Uma. After many unreturned calls from Uma, I was finally able to book a room in the Las Dunas Beach Hotel and Spa in Malaga, Spain, for October 18 to the 25, 2000. I was led to believe that it would be a relaxing spa with a beautiful private beach.

When I arrived, I found the "spa" to be no more than a few exercise machines and the area for a "quiet massage" to be next to the aerobics area where loud music blared constantly. The beach was nothing but dirt. When I called Uma to express my disappointment, I was informed that Uma was no longer with the company. I then spoke with "Daniel." I voiced my concerns and when I told him that the beach was nothing but dirt, Daniel informed me that "that's what a beach is". He was extremely rude and condescending, and would not return my calls.

Upon returning to the states, I called Spa Finders to complain. I was treated rudely and when I wanted to speak with a supervisor, they took my name and number, but no one returned my calls. I had my assistant call Kitty in Customer Service on Monday, October 30, 2000 to register my dissatisfaction. It has been over a week and no acknowledgement. My assistant called Kitty again on Monday and left a voice mail to please call.
