Slow worst overpriced service ever. Been with them 5 years and they have zero customer loyalty. Been on hold for over an hour with power outage and on oxygen. Ridiculous. Switching asap. Do better RELIANT. You are not reliable.

Absolutely atrocious company. I called customer service about 10 times, each time a representative would assure me I’ve paid my final bill and would not be contacted again, yet I would be continuously harassed by emails and mail from reliant about this charge I ALREADY PAID. Customer service would assure me that I would not hear from them again, would say we removed the charge, we removed email and phone contact, yet I would be continuously harassed. This is a SCAMMY COMPANY and will never leave you alone if they feel like they need MORE OF YOUR MONEY. I had sold this property and moved from Texas YEARS AGO and they would not leave me alone. Do your best to find any other company, and hopefully they won’t have call centers from India either.

Been with this company for 5 years!! Changed / auto-renewed my contract with 2 year minimum term and penalty of $295. I moved and they demanded $295 early termination fees. I called them. Explained them that I have been with them for 5 years!!! And this was auto-renewed without my consent. THEY SENT TO CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES. AND ARE HARASSING ME NOW FOR $295. I don't want to pay for what I don't own!! Was good but recently they resorted to scamming and billing fraud due to customer decline.!! Be very careful. Find out if Tesla Energy is in your area and sign up. More peaceful and no sneaky middlemen frauds.

Horrible service. They lie..... Always say things they never do.... Those on the line do not speak English..... Stay away....FAR AWAY.

I am an older individual. My experience with Reliant is the best experience I have had in a lifetime. They are awesome. Painless payment system by phone. Talk to humans if any questions. You are pissing into a Texas wind to use anyone else. Reliant is unbeatable.

Terrible, is the only way I can describe their service quality. They are a scam, charges discrepancies, poor customer service and lack of accountability. All of this entails the values at Reliant Energy. If moving to Texas, don’t get scam.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! a customer of 11 years always paid my bill on time. I recently switched providers because their rates were so much better now they’re trying to say I owe $1000 because I was on an average billing plan that I never signed up for.. on top of the $350 a month I’ve been paying all of this time that’s fine. I’m tired of arguing with them. I told them I would pay it but they won’t take payments. They want me to just pull $1000 out of the Air or they’re going to send it to collections that is the most crappy customer service I have ever encountered.!!

He promised I would save and NO I’m paying even more 😑. Terrible service too. No one speaks English.

If I could give no stars, I would. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH ANY PLANS FROM RELIANT, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! I signed up with a plan that was supposed to be .20 cents KWH and free weekends. In actuality, they charge you higher rate than what's discussed when you sign up, which was .27 kWh. They basically making you pay more and falsely advertising you will have free weekends. Falsely advertising on kWh, stating no delivery charge and free weekends. All lies! When I called customer service after seeing my first bill, the manager couldn't explain why the rate increased but asked me not to terminate services.

Reliant Energy has been around a long time and we have had them as our electric provider for many years. After today, I will NEVER recommend them and will never use them again. I signed up 24 hours ago with a new contract with them. I found a better price somewhere else and wanted to go back and cancel my contract 26 hours later. They would not allow me to cancel saying that the new contract was in effect. Where is my 3 business days rescission?
