Schaws Sauce of Iron River, Mich., is recalling Schaws Sweet and Sassy Barbecue and Basting Sauce and Schaws Sweet with Heat Barbecue and Basting Sauce.
The products contain soy and anchovies, allergens not declared on the label.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
Both sauces, which come in clear 18-oz. jars with white metal lids and have a use by date of August 20, 2022, were sold primarily in Michigan, but were also retailed through the company web site.
What to do
Customers who purchased the recalled products and have an allergy or sensitivity to soy or anchovies should not consume them, but discard or return the bottle to Schaws Sauce, 176 Stanley Lake Drive, Iron River, Michigan 49935, for a refund
