I have Freedom Forever but they went bankrupt. I can see why. Run. Don't walk to a different company. Too many reasons to even bother writing about. Don't even work for a year and was still being charged with interest. Which they said wouldn't happen till solar was up and running. That's just one reason. Customer service isn't the next. The other installers even though they made mistakes were at least friendly and told the truth. Ended up being an installation error and we needed a second box. After one year they figured it all out. They unreal. Stressful and unnecessary. Customer service was blaming us for flipping the breaker on a system we wanted to work! Terrible company. Run. They lie and it's not worth the hassle we endured dealing with this company.

Install took forever and after installation took forever to get the system up and running, that's the good news. The bad news is Alex my Freedom Forever Salesman and PM identified to me how much savings I would have after the system is up and running, I have to pay over $80 per month (that amount increases annually) until I pay the Solar Panels off over the next 25 years.

We have been part of the Freedom Forever bankruptcy since December '25. Had given up hope of completion, loss of payment for system. But just this week we were contacted. And had our system completed! All of the installers I have had were very good. And did quality work. I have also spoke with a customer service representative named David who was excellent in helping with finalizing our process. No run around, no call back, no excuses. Quite a change from the last six months.

I was lied to about this whole deal. The installation didn't occur on time, the inspection didn't take place on time, and it was never even turned on. BUT the biggest thing that I'm upset about is that the so-called salesman lied to me about a loan. When the finance company sent me texts about the loan, I asked the so-called salesman about it, because I didn't want the loan. He assured me that I wasn't getting a loan, that the loan was for Freedom Forever, LLC so that they could install the panels. He said that the paperwork from the finance company was simply to show them that Freedom Forever, LLC had my permission to install panels on my home.

I will say that if had know the cheap labor plan on this and the way they collaborated just to leave it all hanging is the worst thing done. If we had only knew at least what we were getting in to one either the products ain’t complaint or their teams just don’t know have of the things they are doing, I have a bad installed system with serious damage to the home structure. Those paperless systems, they have not provided any paper contracts and partial promises, as the company is not responding to phone calls. I have been told that they are going on bankruptcy claims mean while damage to the home lien by their contractors and a system that is not operating on top legal cost inspections. Cost are the headaches that need to be completed prior going after them.

I'd give them no stars if I could. Freedom Forever filed for bankruptcy in April, that says a whole lot. At first everything was going smoothly after signing the paperwork from getting my roof scheduled to fixed (Subcontractor), which they haven't been paid after 130 days, to getting the solar and battery installed. Then I got nothing but silence. After several months and inquiries fo submitting paperwork to my local electric provider for inspection, they were told to fix a mistake and poof bankruptcy occurred. Since the roofers were not paid by freedomforever, they are wanting their money from me.

Took a while but staff are wonderful! Excited to be running now.

I’m located in San Bernardino, CA and had a system installed with 34 panels and 2 Tesla backup batteries. My monthly payment is $264. While the pricing was more affordable compared to other companies, I strongly encourage anyone considering Freedom Forever Solar to read reviews like this before signing. My journey started in July 2025, and from the beginning, things seemed promising. The sales representative was great—responsive and helpful—until issues started. After signing, communication dropped off significantly. About two weeks after signing, the inspection was completed and I was told I needed to replace the roof paper due to shingles. That slightly increased my agreement cost, which I understood. However, scheduling became a nightmare. It took about 5 weeks just to get the roofing work scheduled.

I regret choosing Freedom Forever. To be clear, the system itself appears to function. That’s the only positive thing I can say. Everything beyond installation has been extremely disappointing. I requested a system performance review in October. What followed was months of chasing updates, multiple phone calls, and repeated assurances that my case had been “escalated.” Despite this, I received no meaningful communication or timeline. It ultimately took several months to complete what should be a straightforward production review. That alone is unacceptable. After the review was finally completed, I attempted to move forward and asked about options to better align production with my actual energy usage. I was told a separate team would reach out within 7 business days. They didn’t. No outreach. No update. No accountability.

The electrical connection on the outside of the house looks like shit. The installers crashed the HVAC ductwork in the attic and never told anybody about it. Drilled a screw hole through the bathroom wall and never told anybody about it. The electrician open up a fire barrier wall to install a conduit that cannot be covered up when the wall gets patch back per electrical code.. I've been doing electrical for 30 years. Things could have been done so much better and the work could have been done much cleaner and more presentable.

I am writing this review to warn individuals in New Mexico of the issues and delays both in communication and technical service I have dealt with. The system was initially installed in early December 2025, and this week (April 8) I finally received my PTO. This delay was caused by lack of communication and poor oversight by the "New Mexico" team. To make matters worse, once I received my PTO, the system is still not functioning ... The system is not charging ... When calling the technical support ...after several attempts waiting in excess of 45 minutes each, I spoke to a customer service representative who advised they couldn't schedule a technician because they had to coordinate with a Regional team...

We signed the papers and the nightmare began. It’s been 3 years and no solar panel have ever touched our roof. Multiple attempts to cancel the order after contract has expired have gotten me nowhere. Loaning institution has me on the blame line for $30k. Lawyers have been contacted.

Nick ** and Company are very easy to work with and very professional. His knowledge of the product made my decision to purchase solar. His team he surrounds himself with were quick to finish their work.

My service went out in February of 2026. It is now April 2026 and my service is still out. This is the second time that the panels have gone out since Freedom Forever sold them to me. Currently, I have been stood up on two appointments that were scheduled. When I call customer service I am hung up on as I am waiting. When I have spoken to a customer service representative I have been put on hold and then hung up on. If I could do this all over again, I wouldn’t. I have equipment on my roof from this company that isn’t working and they seem in no hurry to fix it. I am paying a regular electric bill and for solar panel that do not work.

Avoid this company. They caused a leak, fixed it, but have not contacted me about the damage like they said they would. It's been over 6 weeks. I called and after over 40 minutes on hold, and as soon as I get a real person, I got disconnected. Their email isn't working either.

The men who came to do the installation were excellent! Very polite, conscious of their surroundings and work! The only negative review I would have is about the salesman, Jordan **. From the start he was in communications, answering texts, and the last 2 weeks he went silent. Have not been able to make contact. Jordan told me he would add the critter guard to our work order, which he failed to do and I was told they could not do it without speaking to Mr. **. This is a disappointment, but that is one person. The rest of the install, service was excellent.

Today, I had the pleasure of being assisted by Michael in customer support. He was professional, cheerful, and very helpful. I think if you can hire 10 more employees like him your company may have the best customer support in the solar energy business. I was so impressed with him that I know he deserves several raises, but in lieu of that I offer a thousand thank yous from a grateful customer.

About 15 months ago my Solar System was down almost 7 months and it took almost 3 months to convince your customer service there is s a problem. My breaker controlling my solar burned and fused to my breaker box. At that time I was told that my larger inverter SN 7F177E87-98 was old and at time of installation (2023) a newer model should’ve been installed, have about 35 solar panels attached to this inverter. Going forward – A tech came out to my home because the battery is not charging (LG) from time appt was place until tech was able to come out was 6 weeks. He found the large inverter (SolarEdge) was defective and needed to be turned off, that was 10 weeks ago. Tech spent some time with SolarEdge on Phone & SolarEdge indicated that the inverter needed to be replaced, am now waiting 10 weeks for replacement to arrive.

I was lied to about the project panels. They bait and switched the agreement from QTron 430s to QCell 410s without any notification or consent. The install is poor quality as well as a huge eye soar for the silver patches are visible. Cannot get any manager on the phone. My entire roof has tile damage along without water flashers to keep it from water intrusion. The bait and switch the install and the damage is unacceptable and a breach of what they submitted to the hoa along with the finance company.

The crew arrived on time, courteous, friendly and efficient. I am happy with the service. The service was 4 hours so I'm glad it didn't take all day. I am happy with the service and will recommend to all my friends.

Anzerita was very knowledgeable and timely in her ability to retrieve the information I needed and assist me with my inquiry. I am glad I was able to speak to someone who actually wanted to help me and not rush me off the phone.

We signed with Freedom Forever at the end of December 2025 and paid upfront through a loan for full solar installation, with the expectation the system would be installed and operational by year end. The Sacramento install team completed the physical install on December 31st. However, when the county inspector arrived for approval, the installation FAILED due to exposed hanging wires under the panels.

We had another provider until they switched to this company. During the switch, our autopay got messed up and they put a lock on our box. We paid right away, but they still haven't taken it off over 3 months later. I have emailed and they keep telling me they don't have a service provider in my area, and now they say, "That's a service problem. Not this department. You'll have to email another department." But won't get me to the right people. This company is horrible and I do not recommend them.

I called my power provider and they said Freedom Forever was a scam. I felt it was true due to my conversations with representatives. They were guaranteeing me a certain amount every month, but when I talked to my power provider, they said I can still get a bill from them.

Freedom Forever had been great to work with. The rep who got us set up was great about working with our schedules, and the installation crew were thorough, respectful, and appropriately communicative.

The team did a phenomenal job. They were very professional, respectful, fast with the install, cleaned up after themselves, and provided a high quality aesthetically, pleasing install.

Here we go… We had our first real rainfall last November 2025 since getting our solar install. We first noticed the water stains on our ceiling drywall. We immediately contacted the company. They spent about almost a month passing the buck from one department to another. I spent almost a month with Dozens of phone calls and many many hours trying to get someone to do something. Finally later in December, they sent out an inspection crew. And when they inspected the roof, the inspectors let us know that the panel installers had without a doubt damaged the roof and broke many tiles along the way. He even showed us tiles they had cracked and tried to reglue.

I initiated the contact in mid Oct 2025, first through a direct line my real estate agent provided and through Tesla website. The direct line to my rep Grant, was a lot more helpful and responsive. (The response from online form came late and was shoddy.) Most of the process wasn't too involved, but the whole thing takes way too long.

I had a simple install: A Tesla powerwall. It started in September 2025. I paid on 3rd of September to an escrow account. It is now the end of January, the installation is complete, money has been paid. The final step, the PTO (permission to operate) has not been filed. I cannot get them to finish this project.. What a scam!

If you want your house to have mechanical lien placed on your house then feel free to use them. They did not pay their subcontractors and it forced them to place a lien on my house. If you want to have trouble feel free to use them.

Not great, Mason was a wonderful salesman. But, the installers were a different story. They never cleaned up after themselves. Stood around talking more than working and I realize it was cold but if they would have worked it could have been done a long time ago. The 3rd or 4th crew that came was actually the best. They got more done in one day than all the others. I just hope it's worth it once it's finished.

It’s been several months and my system is still not operable, even after getting the permission to operate. I am still being billed for a system that is not operating. Customer service was rude and not helpful at all.

Working with Freedom Forever has been the most blindingly painful experience of my life. I have never met a company that has been so resistant to talking to me. At every turn except the initial sale I was ignored until miscommunication and bad information became so rampant that I was for the first time in my life considering legal action against a company. I tried everything from extreme passivity and agreeableness to legal threats and being a very squeaky wheel. No power on earth can cajole Freedom forever to take its customers seriously. It will do what it’s going to do, silently, and in its own time. I tremble to consider the possibility that anything could ever go wrong with the system and I’ll need to ever speak to a freedom forever representative again because I know it will be a year long process of waiting around and hoping something is happening.

The financing for my solar project was paid in full to your company, yet Freedom Forever has failed to pay the roofing company that completed work on my home. The roof was installed in June 2025, and despite numerous calls and attempts to resolve this, the roofing company is now moving forward with placing a lien on my property because they have not been paid.

Installation is now complete and the final team was professional. The installation itself went well, and the team was professional. However, the project experienced a significant delay earlier due to internal issues, which caused financial and logistical impact.

Linda was very helpful listening and answering my questions. She was efficient in gathering the requested documentation and emailed the information as promised. It was a pleasure working with Freedom Forever throughout the Solar process.

Overall, we had a positive experience, and I especially want to recognize Stan for his excellent work. He was highly responsive, proactive, and solution-oriented, and did a great job coordinating a complex timeline and keeping things moving forward. His communication and ownership made a real difference. One area for potential improvement is having more clearly defined processes for new construction projects, as these tend to have different coordination needs compared to existing homes. A more tailored approach for new builds could help streamline planning and execution.

The solar panels are different that contract. They offer me 410 kwh and installed 395 kwh. They put more than offer in kwh, but I think the technology is less than the others. I hope that issue do not affect the effectiveness of the system.

Complete lack of accountability. No follow up and no continuity of service. Staff seem to stay for 3 months at most. The product itself it pretty generic and I have no complaints, but they outsource sales, installation and customer service to different organizations and you never know who you are dealing with. You will never speak to the same person.

Linda was very patient and paying attention to my report. She is very helpful in noting the issues and providing the next steps. I appreciate that she takes my call on the day after Christmas. Appreciate Freedom Forever taking care of your customers.
