I had to move a car across the country and I went with AmeriFreight based on their Better Business Bureau rating and the gentleman that helped me, Harry. He was amazing and very kind. He made things sound very simple and I understood him. He kept me informed, called me back when I needed him, and helped me out when we hit a snag. We would use him again and refer him.

I was looking for my dream car, and I found it in Missouri. I live in Pittsburgh and I didn't have the time nor did I think I'd be saving money if I flew out there and drove it back myself. I went with a shipping service and AmeriFreight was recommended to me by the dealership that I got the car from. Rosie was my shipping agent. She was very clear and really helpful throughout the whole process. It was really easy to set it up. She made sure I knew everything about it and everything went pretty well.

I had an old family heirloom pickup truck that was at my mother's house in California. She passed away, so I brought it to the house in Montana. It's a '73 Ford four-wheel-drive and I used AmeriFreight for the transport which was for about 1,200 miles. They offered to do it on a covered or open transport, and it ended up being a covered transport.

I had a great experience with AmeriFreight. The process was straightforward, and they explained everything including the price ahead of time. The person that set me up also explained to me that maybe the driver might want more. We knew ahead of time that there might be more charges. Everything seemed clear.

I had a really good connection with one of the AmeriFreight sales people. With all my research, there are a lot of negative things out there with their reviews, but I didn't experience any of those with AmeriFreight. It was all positive. A lot of them said their car showed up really late. But mine showed up a day early, so it was overall very pleasant. They also sent me a link to track the truck, which was fun to see. It was great experience.

I was relocating from Colorado to Florida and had my Volvo XC60 shipped through AmeriFreight. I liked that they had consistent communication. The broker was pretty upfront with all the information, including costs and potential additional costs and contractual agreements. It was more expensive than I expected, but it was picked up and delivered on time and as promised. They notified me when it was supposed to be picked up and called me with the contact information for a driver and the company that was gonna be delivering it. The broker did an excellent job, overall, with communication and assisting me with shipping the vehicle.

My rep from AmeriFreight, Samantha, was very helpful. I was transferring a car to my sister, and Samantha helped me sort it out. She would answer when I called. There was some straightening out to do because of the timing as you have to get things in line at the last minute, but it was all handled very well. I had to go drive to the corner because of the size of the rig, but that wasn't an issue. The driver took a lot of pictures. He was friendly enough and helpful and got the car loaded very quickly. It was very professionally done.

I recently booked with your company to get my car shipped from California to Washington. I requested for it to be picked up on the weekend but was pressured by Samantha to have it be picked up this past Friday, as she had mentioned it was a great opportunity since there was availability on the truck and a “good deal”. Not really but okay. I agreed and paid the deposit. She told me if I had any questions or concerns to reach her by her phone. Friday rolled around and I received no updates or notifications or timeframes of when it would be picked up whatsoever. My family waited around all day and when I tried getting in touch with Samantha Smith, she did not answered any calls or texts since then. Immediately went to voicemail. The other phone number I was given for AmeriFreight is exactly the same. I am not able to contact ANYONE.

My agent provided satisfying customer service. She always made sure she is available for help for any inquiry I may ask. She and her team did a good job in guiding me throughout the waiting process of the car delivery. She was professional and so is her team. Recommendable to other potential customers who seek their auto carriers.

I used Amerifreight to ship my vehicle and, unfortunately, the experience was pretty disappointing. When a last-minute issue came up during delivery, I was told there wasn't anything they could do. I understand some things are out of their control, but there didn't seem to be much effort to help or even offer guidance. The lack of support during a stressful situation really stood out to me. I wouldn't use them again based on this experience.

I was moving, so I needed my car moved. I googled reliable transportation companies, researched about five companies, and got it narrowed down to AmeriFreight. It’s really easy to set up the transport. I want to specifically shoutout the guy I talked to, the broker. He was really, really communicative and good. I called and started this on a Saturday, which I didn’t want to do because it’s the weekend. The fact he did all of this on a Saturday, and a holiday too, was pretty nice. There was a lot going on, and he was really great.

I heard of AmeriFreight on Google, and they were insistent. Initially, they gave me the lowest quote, but I don’t know if that ended up being the case after all. And the customer service people were quick to reply, but the process was a little confusing.

I knew some guys in the military who had good experiences shipping their cars with AmeriFreight, so when I got stationed in Washington, that’s what I went with. The transport service was good. I actually had an issue where they had the delivery marked to Seattle, and I’m an hour and a half west of Seattle. So, I was on the phone with them as soon as I saw that and customer service was fantastic. Whenever I called and no one was able to answer, they called me back right away. And my delivery guy helped me get it figured out. I sent him the correct address, and we got the car sent over here.

I called AmeriFreight when I needed to ship my truck from Montana to Michigan. I worked with Jennifer ** and she definitely delivered 5-star customer service. I highly recommend asking for her. She was very helpful every step of the process!!

All I can say is it was a pleasure working with your representatives. Rosalind ** and other representatives from your company were very easy to work with. I appreciate their honesty and I always felt they were doing their best for me. This was the first time I shipped a car and I had a lot to learn about the process. They helped remove the apprehension and stress I had entering this endeavor. I also have the highest regard for the carrier; Thru48 LLC. Their young driver; Pavel was exceptional. Not only was he a real professional, but he was also very easy to talk to and work with. My car was picked up the day we agreed to have them ship the car and was delivered within 4 days later after traveling over two thousand miles. This was a wonderful experience for me. I had to move a truck from California to Wisconsin. I looked at some reviews at a web service that accessed a whole bunch of transport companies and found AmeriFreight. They were pretty good along with another company. After talking to AmeriFreight, I decided to go with them as I liked them better.

I was most impressed this time that even when Harry was out of the office, he arranged for someone to meet my needs and get my car picked up and delivered exactly when I needed it to, even though I only gave him two days notice. My son was moving away to college across the country and we went with AmeriFreight because of the pricing and the ratings. I had to talk with them when the price raised quite a bit at the very end, which I wasn't happy about. But they were able to get me down further so it worked out fine.

I've used AmeriFreight before and I used them again to ship my daughter's car to college. I shipped two cars with them from Chicago to Charleston and Chicago to Dallas. I was there for pickup and my kids were there for drop-off. The driver usually calls and you pick a place that's close by to meet for pickup.

I used AmeriFreight to ship a jetski from Streetman, Texas to Poway, California. Everything went okay with the delivery. They keep contacting me to let me know where they are.

I needed to transport a passenger car to Florida from Rhode Island. The person from AmeriFreight who I spoke with was extremely helpful and didn’t pressure at all. She was good in explaining their function that they take the information and put it out to bids. She also explained that we weren’t obligated to take the quote and that we could wait and get a lower one.

We needed AmeriFreight because my wife and I were moving from Texas to Delaware and we needed to ship one of our three vehicles. The experience with the AmeriFreight representative was very positive. We had left the car in front of a neighbor's home and they had the keys. It was prearranged for the carrier to actually contact the neighbor to get access to the keys and that happened as planned.

I was moving house, and I googled who to use, and decided on AmeriFreight. The pickup and drop-off times changed because the booking changed, but the driver was great. He picked it up and dropped it off on time. Everything was easy. The quote was noticeably lower than what I ended up paying. So, I ended up paying noticeably more. But it’s fine.

AmeriFreight wasn't a good experience. The quote to final price was acurate and I got my car and it was safe, but it was an ordeal. I had to constantly call because no one called to confirm the day before. I called the AmeriFreight rep and the place that actually was transporting the car. They said the brakes on their truck was in the shop and they were supposed to pick it up in the morning. They didn't get here until almost night. I kept calling them to find out where were they until I got my truck.

We picked a plan and then made arrangements, and then they came out to install 13 panels. Their price was very reasonable. They did a roof inspection as well to make sure that I did not need any roofing repairs. Overall, the experience was very positive, and I have given out the rep’s name to some of my friends too. There has definitely been a difference in my bill.

Samantha ** at AmeriFreight was great help helping me schedule the transportation of my Harley Davidson Trike from Colorado to Virginia. The price range she provided was a great price and the availability dates she provided were good. She maintained contact with me keeping up to date on how things were coming. Our experience interacting with AmeriFreight was excellent. I was impressed with the woman I worked with. They informed us about the delivery. The driver had a problem with the hand-off, and he didn’t feel like he could get to the place where he was supposed to deliver it. That confused my son. That was the only issue. Very impressed with the professionalism of AmeriFreight and the excellent customer service from Samantha. I had a very specific timeframe for pickup and delivery, and Samantha was able to accommodate my needs. I was very worried because it seemed that a transport would not be found, but Samantha came through. The shipper was on time, courteous, and highly professional. Transporting with AmeriFreight was one less thing that I had to worry about. This shipper arrived on time for pick up and delivery. I looked for son's car to be transported separately since his family was flying for their relocation from Denver to Massachusetts. AmeriFreight did an excellent job. They were responsive, fully answered my questions, and helped us come up with a good option for transporting the vehicle. There was no transport company that could equal AmeriFreight's quote. It was higher. But based on my having spoken with a number of other transport companies, I know that the higher cost was in line with some of the other quotes I received. The business operates a service that has two components. One is AmeriFreight providing customer interface, the second is finding a transport company, which is a separate company, to actually do the vehicle transport. It was that second portion of the process where the price came in differently than was originally hoped for.

I got a few quotes, and after getting the responses, AmeriFreight was the most upfront about everything. I felt good about them. I used them to transport my vehicle from Oregon to Indiana, and I had a great experience. When my vehicle arrived, it was a bit dusty, but it was fine. AmeriFreight gave me the price, and when my vehicle was delivered, it was still the price. There was no funny business. I appreciated that it went exactly as they said it would. It was a bit expensive, but it was a long distance haul so it was reasonable.

I have had two back to back amazing experiences with AmeriFreight. In particular Ms. ** assisted me and made sure my vehicle transportations were scheduled quick even on a short notice with excellent prices offered. A few weeks after my first experience I reached out for the shipment of my second vehicle and I was not let down. I received an identical service and very happy with my decision to do business with this company.

I had my car shipped from CA to GA and the delivery was only 4 days, which is quick and smooth. Customer service was great as they made sure I had a good experience with them. The rate is not the cheapest but it’s a good trade off. Overall, great service.

Order #: **. Amerifreight worked hard to find a transportation company to take my motorcycle on short notice. I needed to ship my motorcycle within the week and they came through. They work hard to communicate between you and the shipper to minimize any information that could be lost between interactions. I would recommend them to anyone I know that needs a good shipping broker. Reason for 4 star was the difference in price from online quote to actual quote. Only pickup date was discussed. I needed to coordinate delivery date with the transportation company when they picked up my motorcycle as my travel time was longer than the transportation company's travel time.

AmeriFreight's communication could have been better. That was the biggest issue. The person didn’t show up at the address we had given. When we initially talked to customer service, we gave them the address where we wanted the pickup, but somehow they got our home address instead. Because our street is a small one-way street, we knew it would be a problem. We had picked a plaza where there would be more space. The pickup wasn’t amazing, but on the delivery end, the communication was decent and there weren’t too many issues. Throughout the process, customer service was fantastic.

AmeriFreight gave me the best price. That’s why I used them. And my experience with their representative was fine. Because my expectation was to have a broker negotiate with a trucking firm to get my car from California to Vermont, and some of the vendors have stopped doing that, and they just give you this high quote. So, I wanted somebody who can negotiate, and so I can tinker with the price somewhat.

I shipped multiple cars with AmeriFreight because I relocated about 2,000 miles. And I chose to use them because they seemed to be a good choice among the multiple bids I got. And AmeriFreight was polite and responsive. The pick-up and drop-off process was also smooth. AmeriFreight is a broker, and so you end up dealing with the individual transporter to coordinate those things, but that was just fine. The transporter was easy to deal with. During the drop-off, I met them at a place where they could maneuver their truck because they have a large transport unit that can’t fit in someone’s driveway. AmeriFreight’s quote was also fair. I think they charged a fair brokerage fee, and the transporter received the bulk of the amount.

I needed to transport my car from Pennsylvania to Miami, and my experience with AmeriFreight was good. The whole trip took three days, and my experience with the driver was good. I had no issues.

The vehicle still got to Indiana when I needed it to. The delivery was the amount of days that they said. Overall, AmeriFreight offers good pricing, good communication, and reliable service.

AmeriFreight's drivers were on time. So, I wasn't really worried. They seemed like they knew what they were doing. While they did not communicate with me throughout the delivery, they were really communicative when the vehicle was approaching where it was supposed to be delivered.

They communicated well and they were pretty quick with being delivery, they found me a driver even though my car was out in the middle of nowhere. This is my first time moving a car through a carrier service and they help me every step of the way, my car came undamaged on time and the same condition I left it in.

Since it was my first time shipping a car, I had a lot of questions, and she was very helpful explaining the process and arranging with a carrier. The carrier Amerifreight used delivered my car on time and in the same condition it was picked up. Overall, I had a positive experience and would use Amerifreight/Raz's services again.

I needed some type of coverage if the car just randomly breaks down, so I checked out CarShield. The signup process wasn’t difficult at all, and the lady helped me lot and gave me discounts to make it as cheap as possible. At some point I was struggling, and I couldn't afford to pay it, but another representative helped me lower the price even more. I haven't really had to use CarShield, and I don't like the fact that I must pay my deductible. But it's good knowing that I'm covered, so it’s fine.

We're very happy with the AmeriFreight customer service. The quote was very fair and they were able to ship my vintage pickup for 1,200 miles. The pickup went smooth. We dropped it off at a local Walmart and met the driver there. It was painless. They then dropped it off at my daughter's house and unloaded it. That also went well. We gave the payment to the driver and they gave us a receipt. It was easy. I would use them again.

The single handedly least stressful experience I've ever had as far as customer service and entrusting my vehicle and most of my belongings with strangers. The contract was open and easy to discern, the customer service/agent I was issued was an absolute pleasure to work with (Sy **). I went with AmeriFreight Auto Transport because I had previously used them. This time I got them for relocation. Everything was fine. The customer service was excellent. The overall process was great, and I was satisfied with it. I have no complaints, and I would use AmeriFreight again.

I have used AmeriFreight a couple of times in the past, and they have been great, so I called them again for a vehicle I bought at an auction to have it shipped to Kentucky. The coordinator and the driver were good.

Amerifreight did a good job. I chose them because they were more honest on the phone when I talked to them. I know how this all works. I've had cars transported before. The people that you pay to transport it aren't the drivers. They basically post something like a Craigslist for drivers. So AmeriFreight said, “We'll post the job. We'll tell you how much the best bid comes in for,” versus saying it's going to be this much, and then tacking on fees added like the other people do.

My husband and I have been talking about AmeriFreight. Customer service with them was phenomenal. We were given a good quote, too. I had to meet them just across the street, a quarter mile, to pick up the cars. But they were able to bring it directly to me there. We were very happy with the AmeriFreight side. Unfortunately, the company that we were outsourced to, there were several hidden things and we were not so happy. I watched them drive through trees with other people's cars getting scratched up, and when our cars arrived, you could tell that similar things happened. We tried to talk to them about it, and they spoke zero English. I wouldn't want to use the same shipping company potentially if I were to do it again.

I found AmeriFreight online as I was trying to move out of California. And I had been referred to them also by one of my former fellow Marines.

I did some online research and found a couple of vendors. AmeriFreight was one of them, and I reached out to them. They gave me a competitive price and decided to go with them. The transport went well. They were very communicative and met the timeline we needed. They were flexible, so it all worked out.

It was a pleasant experience dealing with AmeriFreight and they had the best price. I was moving across the country, and my father-in-law recommended AmeriFreight ‘cause he had used their services twice. The plan was to pick the car up at my old place and then drop it off at my new rental address in Michigan. I had to drive my car a couple of minutes to a road right by the freeway to have it picked up, and same with delivery, my wife and I had to borrow a car and drive 10 minutes to where I picked up the car. Neither of those were mentioned before I signed up, but it was minimally inconvenient and I didn't really care too much. The process was smooth, the contracting drivers were high-quality drivers, and I was happy.

I have had contact with your representative Liz ** several times. She is always pleasant and patient with professional attitudes. I felt I had confidence in her when I deal with her. The pick carrier driver also very professional. He took pictures very carefully and in detail from every corner and angles. The charge of freight is very fair. The delivery was fast and efficient. The car was delivered in good condition without any damage. Even the contents inside of the car also were not broken.

Scheduled a transport of a truck I bought out of state. Unfortunately the delivery vehicle itself needed a repair, so this delayed the delivery by a day. Throughout the process Michelle my agent was friendly and diligent. She followed up immediately to assist the transport. Received my truck without issue. The driver was nice and friendly. My only critique was that I did not receive notification when the truck was picked up or an ETA of arrival once the vehicle was picked up. At the end of the day a delay of one day is no big deal. Everyone was friendly, professional, and I received my truck without issue - so I'd say it was a success.

My experience was good, they were very helpful with the process and although my transport was not tracked the driver was very communicative with me about when he would be delivering. It gave me peace of mind to know my delivery would be delivered on time.

I started the process with AmeriFreight in February. I called really early, and they gave me the most information and an estimated price. Most of the other companies wouldn't even give me too much of a price because I was calling so early. AmeriFreight's customer service representatives always answered right away, or if they needed to call me back, they would call me back. They were very quick to respond.

The service was very efficient, well organized, and everyone involved (broker, messengers, drivers) were extremely friendly. The drivers were incredibly nice and kept me in the loop about their arrival time. I also received frequent status updates from the broker. The car arrived 3 days earlier than predicted and it took only 4.5 days from West Coast to East Coast.

AmeriFreight Is a Complete Scam — Stay Far, Far Away. Let me save you time, money, and a massive headache: do not, under any circumstances, use AmeriFreight. This company is the definition of incompetence, indifference, and borderline fraud. I shipped two vehicles—one to Texas, the other to Los Angeles—and despite filling out every detail with obsessive accuracy, AmeriFreight managed to screw up both in spectacular fashion.

Job well done! I couldn’t have asked for a better company and carrier to move a 1986 pickup from Texas to Ohio! The customer service and driver were awesome! This is the first time requesting this service and I’m glad I choose AmeriFreight for this move! Outstanding job! If I ever plan to move a vehicle in the future this is the company I’m going to call. I’ll also promote this company to my friends who plan to move a vehicle in the Conus. Working with AmeriFreight was great. Christine was really great with me. She was really good. The quote was a little bit higher than I would like, but Christine was able to help me to find something that was a little less. She was like, "Okay. I'll just call you when I have something close to this number." It was fine. At first, it was a little cheaper. But I ended up having to pay a little bit more. 

AmeriFreight's quote was very reasonable. The person I worked with was very helpful, communicative, and stayed in touch. He told us what he'd be doing and then took the car out. My daughter met him in Colorado at a similar place. We had a great experience overall and I'd recommend using AmeriFreight on any future transfers.

We were needing a transport service for a job relocation, and my husband found AmeriFreight on Google and we used them. The pickup was in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the drop-off was in Phoenix, Arizona. While I was not at the drop-off, I was there for pickup. The driver brought a large semi that transports 8 to 10 cars. He had my address, but I was living in a side street, so he was too big to fit down there, so we found a closed business parking lot where he just pulled in and that was where we loaded. The driver was great. I was trying to catch a flight, and so I had to leave but he ensured me that he would send a photo of my vehicle once it was loaded just for my peace of mind so I knew that it was secured. He did that, and then he also updated me the second day of the drive.

With AmeriFreight's help, I didn't have to be in a new state without my vehicle for too long, so that was good. I first heard about them online and when I set up the transport, the young lady that I spoke to was able to work it out to where it was available or they could provide me with the dates that I needed. So I was very happy with that. She also made me feel at ease with the whole process. In fact, I had set it up with another company prior to AmeriFreight, but because of her personality and the way she was helping me, I ended up switching over and going with AmeriFreight. She was she was very informative, and all the dates and times were exactly as they were explained to me upfront. Right now, I'm experiencing something that's going on with my vehicle's alignment, which is a result of how the delivery person had it hooked up in their vehicle. So I'll have to get that checked out. But that's not AmeriFreight's fault.

I went on Google and looked at reviews for vehicle delivery companies, and found AmeriFreight. I submitted a request online, and someone called me, and everything was handled from there. The transport from Georgia to Texas took about three days and the communication was great, especially with the driver. We had each other’s numbers and he would text me updates over the weekend. And the car arrived on the day it was expected.

I had a good experience with AmeriFreight, one of the few times I have had a good experience with a car carrier. These guys, especially in the beginning, were really good with communication. They were constantly bringing me quotes, regardless of whether it was higher or not, just to gauge my appetite for going up higher or waiting.

I did a military move, so I needed to send my truck back home. AmeriFreight had pretty good reviews on the Better Business Bureau and it was a pretty seamless process talking to their agent and getting something arranged. I was sighted three days prior to the 4th of June, then the pickup was on the 3rd. I had to meet the driver to pick up my truck a short distance away. We had originally planned to go a mile away and I said that was ridiculous. So we eventually picked a place that was within walking distance of my residence. Where I had lived was pretty closed off, so I totally understood choosing a parking lot to get it picked up at, which he picked it up at a school parking lot. So that was fine and we had no problems there.

I’ve had previous experience with AmeriFreight and it has always been a good experience. I've also heard from some other people that I know that it's been a great experience, which made me decide on AmeriFreight. Harry, the rep, was fantastic. It was the best service I’ve had so far. He was very friendly and efficient, and he answered any questions that I had. He stayed on top of everything that needed to get done and made sure to let me know every step of the way. Everyone was buttoned up tight and very straightforward. It is as good as it could be and I'm highly pleased.

I shipped two vehicles through AmeriFreight and although I was given an option for the covered transport, I went with the uncovered one. The quote was fair for these times. Setting up the transport was easy and the team worked with me on the pickup and delivery. The location was changed at the last minute, but it was right up the street from my house. When the vehicles were delivered, they were dropped off directly at the door of the house I'm going to. So, the team did good. It was a little bit last minute for the contact of when they arrived, but somebody was waiting.

From pick-up to drop-off, the whole transport took three days from California to Missouri. The truck they used was a mid-sized truck and wasn't as big as some of the other ones. On delivery, I met the driver somewhere and he was fine. He photographed the car and the vehicle arrived in good condition. We had no issues there. But the quote was a few dollars more than what I was originally quoted. Other than that, it was a good experience and the service was very fast.

The service of AmeriFreight was excellent. I was impressed with their response when I had questions and their communication. The car arrived a little earlier than we expected. They said they'd be here on Thursday but they were here Tuesday morning before the banks opened. And it was Memorial Day weekend and a bank holiday.

The customer service was helpful and prompt. The car carrier service was also good. The biggest drawback is that the final price ended up being double that of the original quote, which is very misleading. The pick up and drop off dates of the car were also late. Lastly, I asked for an open carrier but was only provided with an enclosed one.

We were originally shipping 2 vehicles in one order ** but they messed up and only assigned one to carrier. So we had to create another order ** for the second vehicle. Michelle ** took over, who was very responsive. But we had to pay a higher price. However, what was ridiculous was that, the two orders ended up got assigned to the same carrier, and got shipped on the same day. Then why they could not combine the order like it was supposed to be, and why shall we pay a much higher price for two separate orders and also double the insurance? We shipped two vehicles on separate times with AmeriFreight. One of them was a 2021 Nissan Altima and the other one was a 2020 Mazda Miata. I contacted them with the first car. They were always kind and helpful. The way it works is that they’d get quotes and then call me back with some. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee moved from Appleton Wisconsin to Minnesota. Although I informed AmeriFreight that I did not want the additional AFTA auto insurance, they charged me for it anyways. Once AmeriFreight has your money, they do whatever they want and won't lift a finger to help if things go wrong. I have numerous communications with them and they keep saying the charge will be credited to my account, it never happens. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company and filing complaints with the BBB and Attorney General's office.

The driver made the pickup seamless, just loaded it up on the little wrecker truck and gave me an invoice and an estimated date and that was that. He was running a little bit behind that day, but was informative about where he was. I was still moving during the delivery, but somebody met him somewhere just because where it went was a rural area and it went smoothly. It was a solid experience. Shipping my vehicle with AmeriFreight was great overall. However, I had no communication with the delivery guy for three days after they said they were gonna drop it off. They could have done better communicating what day they're gonna drop it off. Still, the delivery was good. I got my car, and I can’t complain.

At first, I thought I had the money for the transport, but it went up, so I couldn’t do it. When I was finally able to get the car since I got a loan from a family member, I called Christine to let her know.

I used AmeriFreight once before and they did a good job, so I was a repeat customer. Customer service was excellent. They were timely and proactive in communicating status. The price ended up increasing 15% and I expected some variability but not that much. It was for my mother-in-law's vehicle in Florida, and I scheduled it all. The neighborhood was too small for the driver to pull his big rig in, so I had a neighbor drive the car to Walmart and meet him. It wasn't as convenient, but I understand. The driver had multiple deliveries, so it took a couple of days longer due to some weather issues, but he was great. I met him at a convenient truck stop and picked up the car there. The only challenge I had was the payment had to be given directly to the driver versus through AmeriFreight. I would’ve preferred it to be a single transaction. I call AmeriFreight, they schedule, the driver loads and unloads, and I pay through AmeriFreight. But I understand they're bidding it out to independent contractors. I have recommended AmeriFreight to a couple of people.

However, it ended up costing more because they couldn’t get anybody to pick up the car at the original quoted price, so I had to pay a little more to get it done. They did get the job done at a competitive price. It was what everybody else was kind of quoting in the beginning, but again, the price wasn't what was originally discussed. There was a little glitch in the delivery, but they did work it out.

Setting up the transport with AmeriFreight from California to Wyoming across 1,400 miles was good. Communication with them was also good, and there were no issues with pickup and delivery. The final cost was a little more expensive than I expected. But it was a custom delivery as the car was inoperable, so that was what caused that.

Highly recommend AmeriFreight if you need to ship a car from cross-country or even within state.
