    I purchased a car from Carvana in November of 2024. Carvana verified through Plaid that I had the down payment in my account at the time of purchase. When I attempted to make the payment over the phone with the representative (on the line with me), it kept declining due to a system error. I actually ran the card so many times that it locked and flagged as fraud. Chase Bank sent me a text message asking if I had attempted to make a purchase in the amount of $1190.00. I responded yes, and Chase unlocked the card. I tried to run it again and it would not go through due to a system error. The representative told me to take the cash to the dealership when I picked up the car (the following day). That Friday, I went to pick the car up, and the young man stated that he could not take cash at the dealership. He gave me the keys to the car and the purchases was somehow completed.

    My car payment has been made on time every month since I have had the car. In February, I received a certified letter stating that I would have to surrender the car if the $1190.00 was not paid by February 12, 2025. I called Carvana and spoke with Joey. I explained to Joey that I can pay $600.00 that day and the remainder the following week. Joey stated that they are unable to take partial payments and that I would need to pay the $1190.00 in full. I then told Joey that I would be able to make the full payment the following week. Joey stated that she notated my account. On February 16, 2025, my car was repossessed. While my children and neighbors are outside (very humiliating). I explained to the tow truck driver that my payment has been on time every month. He explained to me that in his line of work, Carvana/Bridgecrest Bank are the worst to deal with and he would advise that I seek another finance company once I got the car back.

    He stated that Carvana has a tracker on my vehicle (which he showed me on his phone). The tow truck driver stated that he has to take the car back with him or he would get paid and told me to tell the finance company that I had COVID and was unable to work and was unable to make a payment (although I showed him on my account where I was never behind on a payment). He assured me that I would get the car back without having to pay any repossession fees. The next day – 02/17/2025, I called Bridgecrest and they stated that I would need to pay $20,000 to get my car back. And because I am unable to come up with $20,000, they would keep possession of the car. Once the car has gone through an “unwind” process and passes inspection, Carvana/Bridgecrest would delete the trade line from my credit report as if I never had purchased a car. This process takes 30-90 days.

    In the meantime, I have been unable to purchase another vehicle due to Bridgecrest having the tradeline on my credit report (although it has never been late). I keep getting emails about paying my car payment by 02/28/2025 or it will be reported to the credit bureau as a 30 day late payment (damaging my credit and keeping me from getting another car). A Bridgecrest representative called me today 02/25/2025 asking if I was interested in paying the $20,000 to get the car back. I stated that I am not in the position to do that at this time. I then asked him about the hit that would be on my credit report and he stated that he would send me to Customer Relations.

    Once transferred to Customer Relations, I spoke with Chris who stated that because the car was in the “unwind” process, I can make a car payment to keep it from hitting my credit report and I would be refunded that amount after 30-90 days. If I did not make a payment, it would hit my credit report as 30 days late (even though I do not have the car). Chris stated that he would speak with higher administration to see if the hit could be stopped or slowed down (whatever that mean). I then asked for a letter from them stating that I no longer have the car in my possession and that I am no longer responsible for the loan. Unfortunately, that is something that Bridgecrest can not do. I don’t know what to do right now as I have to get back and forth to work. I do not want to lose my job because they are holding me back from getting transportation. Shame on Carvana for treating people on the manner.

    I appreciate Carvana’s upfront pricing and the overall ease of purchase. However, my experience with the cosmetic condition of my vehicle has been extremely disappointing. Despite the vehicle listing not notating the two largest spots of cosmetic damage, these deep scratches—which clearly appear to be from a collision —were dismissed as "normal wear and tear". Carvana, along with their partner SilverRock, did not stand behind the quality claims made on their website. Moreover, the multiple phone calls and mixed messages I received only worsened the situation. Regrettably, I cannot recommend Carvana’s services based on my experience.

    While I very much appreciate the detail, amount, and accuracy of the information provided online about the vehicle I purchased, the process of collecting my vehicle missed several opportunities to make me feel truly satisfied with the experience. None of my criticisms rose anywhere near me considering canceling or returning the car. But they were annoying and very much distracted from the more positive elements of the transaction. I believe I got a fair price with a minimum of the typical dealership crap. However, my was not fully charged upon receipt. And one tire had a nail in it and was missing a valve cap.

    When I mentioned the charging issue, the support staff immediately and defensively argued that they only guarantee 50% charge. But how hard would it be to charge up someone's new car? I really was not fully sure I had enough range to get home. Also, the valve cap would be so easy to replace at the dealership. I had to go out of my way to visit an auto parts store to purchase a replacement. I can almost forgive the slow leak in the damaged tire. But when the alarm was displayed it indicated that all the tires were at the low end of acceptable. Again... super easy for a dealer to fix and a real pain for me.

    It feels like there were very easy ways to send me on my way feeling great about my new car, rather than offloading a bunch of nuisance tasks to me. And then getting a lecture from the support staff online about how you met the bare minimum required by our agreements when my purpose for calling support was merely to provide feedback on how they could've done better, not nickle-and-dime you for the issues I already resolved. I would ordinarily feel good about this engagement, but these little things got in the way. You can do better. I hope you take this feedback and improve.

    I had a terrible experience with Carvana. I purchased a vehicle from them, trusting their "150-point inspection", but after just 3 months of use, my CV axle broke, and the engine started leaking oil. Clearly, their inspection process is either not thorough or completely misleading. The car initially seemed fine, but these major issues should have been detected before selling it. Now, I’m stuck with costly repairs that Carvana refuses to take responsibility for. If you're considering buying from them, get a third-party inspection ASAP! Their warranty is short, and once it expires, you’re on your own. I regret buying from Carvana and would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle. Buy from a dealership or a private seller with a trusted mechanic instead!

    TLDR; Initially, I made a purchase in November 2024. Delivery was smooth. The issue came about registration. It didn’t began until I called in two weeks after delivery. Sadly, during the submission of the registration documents to the NJ DMV, a big error was made, which ultimately led to a title correction issue. My case was escalated to the Executive Resolutions team, after several calls and sadly, submitting a consumer complaint (I generally do not like to complain). My caseworker, Natasha, was outstanding throughout the process. I initially was offered a swap due to the error (in December 2024), but declined at that time because I absolutely loved that vehicle. However, the title correction was taking a bit longer than we liked and I was offered a swap again. This time, I accepted. I received a better deal and a better car this time around (February 2025).

    The delivery was delayed once and Britt, the courier, was amazing and made this second delivery smooth, with a snowstorm beginning. During the time by which I could not drive my vehicle legally, Carvana offered compensation twice, which was helpful for what was needed. I have my new vehicle and I absolutely love it. It does have a minor electrical issue, but surely it can be fixed (hopefully under manufacturer warranty).

    The overall feedback regarding registration is to just ensure that all documentation is valid prior to submission and done without the consumer calling to initiate the process. If there is an issue, whether minor or not, there should be a disclaimer prior to; although issues can be resolved, it still should be communicated so that it’s not left to the consumer to discover it. Lastly, although the seven-day return window is nice, it would be nice to check in and see if the customer is considering keeping the vehicle a few days in. If so, registration should then start. The seven days seemingly delays the whole process, since the consumer only has roughly 30 days on the temporary license plate.

    I was recommended Carvana from a fellow service member but I am severely disappointed in the quality of vehicle I received. I had the truck for a total of 20 minutes before issues began arising. The transmission was slipping, tire pressure service light came on, and the engine had a rough idle. For a 2018 with less than 100,000 miles on it I am shocked that there is no disclosure of known issues with vehicles. This will be my first and last purchase through Carvana.

    I purchased a truck. It was delivered on 2/13/2025. Ran good until Sunday 2/16/2025. It broke down. Had towed to the garage on 2/18/2025. On 2/19/2025 talked to the mechanic about it. He said it was throwing all kinds of codes. Even codes saying it was in a accident and even showed signs of that. He also told me besides lights flashing by their self it also stayed running without the key in it. It was a very bad experience and has costed me a total of $345.00 Dollars $290 On shipping and $55.00 Dollars in gas. Lead me to never buy from Carvana again and to never recommend you to anyone.

    I recently purchased a 2018 Acura MDX using Carvana. First off, let me say I don't personally know anyone who has used Carvana but it was recommended to me from someone I know who works at a dealership.     Have replaced missing brake fluid reservoir cap $9.00. Missed a day of work to go repair a coolant leak after my wife called in PANIC MODE. Noticed I had a mismatched tire on the right rear. Then I drove it to work one day and heard a horrific noise. When I got to the parking area I found the spare tire cover/shield had fallen to the ground and dragging under the car. One nut that was loose was all holding it on the other three were missing. The seats had stains on them, dog hair all over the interior and the front air dam/spoiler was broken up. I understand I bought a used vehicle but for 40k (after finance) I would've at least expected the 45-72 pt inspection to have been completed.     Watch out. Doesn't seem tricky at first. They take the deposit before you're fully verified then they have a recipe to lower your income and not qualify you. So they can take more money. By that time you're trapped because they've already taken your money.

    The delivery driver was friendly and professional. The car arrived with a dirty interior. Interior trim has conditional issues which were not listed. Several pieces are coming apart. Typical for the make, model, and year. A few electrical issues with the car which were not listed. The cigarette lighter socket does not work. The multicontour seat controllers do not work. 1 TPMS sensor has failed. Under the hood looks spotless, but is missing a emblem on the motor cover. Overall, I like the car and decided to keep it. It would be great if Carvana would fix the electrical issues. This is the second car I have purchased from Carvana.

    Overall, it was a great experience. This is our second purchase with Carvana. Everything went smooth until I had issues with downloading a document and getting an extra set of keys which was a part of the deal. Dealing with customer service is difficult. They transferred me all over the place just to get back to the original number. It depends on who you talk to. I finally got to a rep that knew what he was doing but it took several calls to fix both issues. Some reps are very difficult to understand. I would have given a 5-star rating, without the issues with customer service.

    So far my experience has been great! I looked at several cars and chose one that fit my needs (and was able to filter others out based on very transparent history reports and direct links to Carfax). We hit a snag when my scheduled delivery date was pushed back, and I spent quite a bit of time with customer service explaining my urgent need for the car - however, they were eventually able to deliver my car on the originally scheduled delivery date - and at an earlier time! (Special shout out to Miles, who delivered my car and could not have been nicer and more helpful). I'm still waiting for my title and registration to come through, but I love that Carvana is handling that for me, too. Overall, an excellent experience that I would recommend.

    The “150-point inspection” is a joke. This car is leaking oil from the turbo as well as from the valve cover gasket, the timing cover gasket and elsewhere. The coolant is contaminated. It will set you back well over $4500.

    If I could give Carvana **zero stars**, I would. They completely jerked me around on a Jeep Grand Cherokee purchase. I submitted **all** my paperwork **on time**, yet due to their absolute incompetence and horrible organizational skills, they managed to **lose my documents** and then had the audacity to send me an email saying, YOU MISSED YOUR DEADLINE.

    Not only is this completely false, but when I tried to clear things up, they flat-out lied and said they never received my paperwork—despite the fact that I had proof of submission! Their customer service is a joke, their process is a disaster, and dealing with them has been nothing but a frustrating nightmare. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. Carvana is nothing but a poorly run, dishonest company that can’t handle even the basics of a car sale. 🚨 Avoid at all costs! 🚨

    Bought a one-owner, 35k mile vehicle thinking “I’m plenty safe, the thing is practically brand new”. Boy oh boy was I wrong. For starters, the buying experience was a wild pain. From a typo in the account number to then getting deliveries pushed and pushed, I should’ve known then I was making the wrong move. One week into ownership, I’d already spent $1400 in servicing (during which I lost use of the car for 2 days) and am now on day 3 of my second stint of servicing, because the dealer says it needs a new steering column.

    I’ve now got my first payment due in 10 days and I’ve only spent just about a week being able to drive this thing. If this is representative of the overall quality of the product Carvana puts out, their doors should stay closed. You pay higher than your average dealer asking price because of the convenience factor, but what that does is automatically put you upside down on the loan-to-value ratio, so you’re stuck. I’m pretty disgusted with this entire transaction. If I never have to do business with Carvana again, it would still be too soon.

In this purchase, there were some mechanical issues with my first choice in vehicles, there was a very slow response as far as getting repairs completed so I chose to exchange within the seven day timeframe which proved to be a nightmare.     Sold my vehicle, it’s a Nissan 2018, so 7 yrs old. I bought it from a dealer with one key. There was no option when I listed on Carvana to select keys. Then they told me when I was on my driveway in 23 degrees F. that I would get 200 dollars left for a simple non digital key. Switch and bait. Totally unethical and dishonest. Never buy or sell through them.

    I purchased a 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat which had been sitting available for a few months since I noticed it back on 12/2024. I waited until shipping costs became “free” to purchase in 02/2025. After submitting the purchase paperwork, I called Carvana customer service to inquire on the regimen of inspection and requirements to meet roadworthiness expectations of their vehicles. The Carvana advocate assured me all vehicles are inspected thoroughly and meet laws and expectations related to vehicle sales.

    The vehicle was delivered on 02/07/2025. Before unloading the vehicle off the Carvana delivery truck. I noticed a leak under the radiator area of the vehicle. The delivery driver assured me that it was water from the car wash. I touched and smelled it and knew immediately it was not water. I took the vehicle to my local Dodge dealership the next day and paid for a multiple-point inspection out of pocket ($174.95). The report came back with a leaking radiator needing replacement and 3 modules needing updates. On top of that, I noticed the rear speakers are blown and the slotted rotors spin in opposite directional patterns. Most slotted and cross-drilled rotors spin in the same directional pattern no matter what side of the vehicle you face.

    According to Carvana, all recalls were satisfactory and closed. Dodge states all three were never actioned properly. One module related to security systems of the vehicle, results in key fobs will no longer be able to be programmed to the vehicle once the update occurs. The dealership highly encourages obtaining extra key fobs for this reason which I was happy to pay for out of pocket ($503.27).

    The total amount of repairs and replacements equated to ($2,703.05 excluding the key fob) which brings up my next experience with Carvana’s warranty partners, Silver Rock Warranties. Silver Rock assesses a deductible of $100 if you use an “in-network” mechanic shop and $350 for “out-of-network”. Silver Rock’s in-network options in El Paso, TX are absolute garbage with the reputation to affirm, which shall remain nameless. I selected my local Dodge dealership which falls out-of-network, for these same reasons and Carvana nor Silver Rock would waive the $350 deductible.

    Again, the vehicle already had a leak prior to coming off the delivery truck and I would be expected to pay $350 to start getting covered warranty work for the vehicle. After escalating with both Carvana and Silver Rock, Silver Rock conceded to waiving the deductible. Even a supervisor with Carvana stated on a recorded call that it Carvana should not have sold the vehicle in its condition.

    After warranty approval, I had to request multiple extensions on the 7-day money back guarantee as the situation was beyond my control and solely caused by Carvana’s negligence in bad-faith business dealings. Carvana would only extend the 7-day money back guarantee through 02/21/2025 (a maximum of 14 business days) yet the vehicle’s ETA of repair completion is 02/26/2025. Even on this timeline, I would never receive the benefit and comfort of a true 7-day money back guarantee driving experience. As a result, I am returning the vehicle 02/19/2025. Leadership failed to extend the 7-day money back guarantee to truly let me gauge the vehicle’s worthiness.

    To all buyers, beware as Carvana is rigid with “their policies” and fall short of “We’ll drive you happy.” I explicitly expressed desire in an exception to their 7-day money back guarantee policies as I want to keep this vehicle but needed some assurances. Carvana failed to meet laws and expectations in good-faith business practices and sold me a vehicle not suitable to road-use.

    To boot, the last Carvana leader I spoke with offered an alternate option to select another vehicle. One option I selected, cost a little more than the first vehicle. I asked that they match the price in lieu of my experience and Carvana declined. They offered another option that costs less however they would not waive the delivery fee. Carvana could merely offer a reduction of $500 in the shipping fee. While selling me an unroadworthy vehicle, acknowledging their shortcomings, Carvana still looks for a way to hide behind their policies and take more money from me.

    Communication with the delivery driver was good. The driver alerted me one half hour before the delivery window expired that they would arrive 15 minutes after the delivery window. Upon receiving the vehicle, it was very evident that it had been smoked in. Looking under the hood, the coolant was low. During the first drive in the rain I turned on the defrost which caused windows to fog up. This is a classic symptom of a leaking heater core. I was told that as it was within the 7-day return period, there would be no deductible in having their warranty company pay for the repair.

    The catch is, you can only use one of their "authorized repair facilities." These facilities, in my area, are all Firestone car care centers, Pep Boys, and Monro service centers. I'd have no problem bringing the truck to one of these businesses for tires, brakes, or suspension, but I'm not about to have them dissect the entire dashboard to replace a heater core and trust that the whole assembly won't rattle like a maraca afterwards. If I ran this operation, I would pay to have the vehicle diagnosed at the dealer nearest the purchaser, and credit the customer's loan with the book time cost of the repair.

    I had a great experience with Carvana in 2020, but this time has been a nightmare. I scheduled a drop-off for a Chrysler Pacifica on 2/14, but the rep left early and ignored my calls. The van had major issues—bad detailing, an antifreeze smell, and rough shifting. Customer service was unhelpful, refusing to escalate my concerns and insisting I use the warranty on a car I had for 20 minutes!

    I exchanged it for a Mazda CX-5 on 2/16, and within four hours, the check engine light came on. Two faulty cars in three days? Carvana’s quality control is clearly lacking. Returns are nearly impossible due to their policies and poor customer service, leaving me stuck with another risky exchange or out-of-pocket costs for a car I’ve had less than a day.     The customer service is a nightmare. It took me forever to speak to a real human. I eventually spoke with a manager named Frank. He was very helpful at first, then when I called back and had questions about more concerns, 6 messages were left through associated and I never heard from him. I’ve just give up. Concerns: first, my car was 5 days late. There was weather issues, yet no storms at the time. They apologized and said I’d be compensated for that. Then, when my cat arrived (a Tesla), it was only charged to 13% (it should never be below 20%) and it was covered in soap from a crappy wash. Certainly not the way a car should be delivered.

    I made it to a charger with 1%. Then, once I drove it, immediately it told me a tire was bad and needed service. This is the main reason I called the manager Frank back, as I believe they should cover that service, as that was not disclosed to me and I should not have to pay for that repair. I can’t get ahold of him or anyone that can help. Do yourself a favor and forget the convenience of online, cause the rest is a nightmare. Go to a real dealership, get the same deals if not better and receive reliable, real, tangible customer service.

    The purchase and delivery went well. After we took possession of the car, we realized it does not have Apple or android audio CarPlay. This was a big selling point for us. We needed a car with this because we spend a lot of time in our car and our previous car had it. The description said it had it, but it definitely does not. I called and talked with customer service about this and she offered me $100. That’s all she could do. I told her we called a dealership and it’s going to be at least $350 to purchase the correct radio and 175 to have this radio programmed with it. Not all radios can be programmed for it, it has to be a certain radio, and that will have to be purchased. I told her we were gonna be out close to $500 to have this feature put on the car and all she could do was offer me $100. I don’t want the money I just want her to offer to have it installed for us or give us enough to cover it at the dealership.

    Also, there are two tiny chips in the windshield that you definitely would not have seen until you drove the car and we’re sitting in the driver seat and the sun hit it just right. She said too bad about the chips. I should’ve noticed it when the driver dropped it off. He dropped it off and left. There’s no way we could’ve driven it around and seen these chips. Now I have to pay for a radio and to have two chips repaired on a car. I just purchased, definitely not very satisfied.

    Overall the car, Kia Stinger GTS, is really nice but there was obviously no pre-purchase inspection performed by Carvana as advertised. The cabin filter had a bird's nest in it and it was disgusting. The coolant level was so low that the car's fans had to run after turning off the engine just to cool the engine down and the oil was filled so high that it was way over the full mark on the dipstick.     Carvana was excellent. I bought a 2018 f150 and I noticed transmission issues right away. I looked it up Online and ford has a class action against them for these transmissions so I didn’t even want to Get warranty work done and get another busted one. So I called Carvana and told them and they let me pick out a Dodge Ram and swap the Ford with no issues at all. I was surprised, their 7 day guarantee is absolutely legit.     I purchased a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E and paid the non-refundable fee of $690 to have it shipped to my closest vending machine. The purchase went smoothly, except the car was only 58% charged and wouldn’t be able to get me the 100 miles home. Little did I know that it really wouldn’t have got me that far on the freeway. I plugged in to the charger on site and after 30 min it was clear that this was going to take forever. The salesman pointed me to the nearest fast charger and I headed over there. It was in use, so I then had to find another and finally after an hour there I had enough charge to get home.

    It’s a fun vehicle to drive and I loved all the features and the zippy acceleration, however, after a full charge the car claims it can take you 215 miles, but after an 80 mile drive home, the battery was more than half drained. I plugged in to a regular plug at my home and the car said that it would be fully charged in a day and a half… This wasn’t going to work for me, so I returned the vehicle. The return process went well, except I continued getting emails saying the registration was processing and the purchase had gone through, even though I had cancelled the purchase and the pick up was scheduled.

    This was my first time choosing Carvana and I was skeptical and nervous at first. However, the entire process was so smooth and painless and we absolutely love the vehicle!!! We purchased the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas, the carfax was provided with details on the car including minor dent and scratch from the moment we chose it and began the process. It was quick smooth and painless. It made buying a car fun vs stressful!     The vehicle was delayed by a 1 day delivery date which was disappointing at first but it worked out better because of our work schedules.     There are 2 aspects of the vehicle I’m not too thrilled about. 1 is the auto engine turn-off when at a stop sign or such you are able to turn this off however it doesn’t stay off per profile so if you just jump in and go and forget to hit the button it will turn off each time and it’s annoying but not horrible and the 2nd is the GPS is not the most accurate, like it needs updated somehow due to roads being closed etc. My recommendation is double check the route or map on a different device for accuracy first. But I will definitely be coming to them when it’s time to look for teen cars!!!

    My car arrived with many scratches on the hood — not disclosed prepurchase. CV and its warranty company Silver Rock refuse to pay for repainting nor to refund my shipping charges if I refused the car. The same vehicle has a broken gas strut so the MINI’s left rear door only opens manually. The car arrived clean at first sight, but then I discovered LOTS of hair and fur under the driver’s seat, scuff marks on seats and doors that wouldn’t come out, AND many leaves under the hood. Carvana said the vehicle still had 2 months remaining on two manufacturer warranties — turns out they expired six months before my purchase! I am so disappointed with the scruples of Carvana.     Overall, the experience was pretty good.

    * My purchase was through Carvana mostly because they offered more than local dealerships.

    * I got my own financing because I could get a better rate through my credit union, but their offer was probably good if you just want the convenience of getting it all done together with the purchase.

    * They claim to go through an extensive inspection on their cars, but what they don't tell you is that they don't fix a lot of the issues.

    * I used the warranty that came with the purchase because the valve cover gaskets were leaking oil, rear strut boots were torn, and a window regulator was not allowing for the window to close all the way. It was a pleasant surprise when SilverRock (warranty) agreed to cover it all.

    * Their in-network shops for warranty are mostly tires shops, but I did find a good repair facility for my initial inspection (within the first 7 days to decide if I wanted to return the car). They filed a claim and to my surprise, SilverRock agreed to pay an actual dealership to perform the repairs when the in-network shop suggested that I take it there. There was also a cracked third tail light that was not covered, so I found a used part to replace it.

    * There's a lot of paperwork and electronic signatures required, especially if trading in, so I had to check multiple times a day and contact customer service towards the end to make sure everything was done. Unfortunately, some of the approvals were not finished by the Friday before Monday delivery, so I ended up receiving my car on Tuesday which is not a big deal to me.

    * Overall, everyone I worked with was friendly and we got the deal done. Now just waiting for my repairs to be finished, it's been at the shop for 2 weeks... but the dealership gave a loaner so I'm not in a hurry.

    I picked up the car after going over Carfax, paperwork for Pre-delivery and nothing was done to this car, the air filter was full of a half inch of leaves, dirt and had to be years old or the original. Battery was low so the car work charge work right so I had to replace and reprogram first week, the interior and seatbelts work so dirty like construction workers used it. The underside of the seat belt was black and brown from dirt, the color was light tan, lol. No floor mats. I had to do clay bar on the paint for two days, the rims were quickly spayed like a at home job by a 16-year-old. The car wash took paint off. I will have to buy rims, all this need was a professional detail and going over and basic maintenance but they did none of that.     This company has shown zero regard for the customer experience. On the day my vehicle was supposed to be delivered, I didn’t get a phone call—just a text informing me that my delivery was delayed by 10 days. After multiple chat conversations and calls with customer service, all I got was empty apologies—no answers, no accountability. No one could tell me where my vehicle was, why it was delayed, or how they planned to make it right. Meanwhile, I had already returned my rental car the day before, trusting that my scheduled delivery would actually happen.     Love the technology and almost everything about my transaction. There is one thing that went terribly bad and customer Svs (asked for supervisor) said they were just sorry but didn’t offer anything to fix the problem. I asked to speak with that person's supervisor and he said he’s the end of the line. There is no one else. I ordered a car and drove 6 hours to pick it up. I got a hotel room for the night and settled in. (I paid $1600 for shipping.) Carvana email me at the very last hour the night before to tell me the car was delayed. I couldn’t get out of my hotel room because of short notice and had to make the 12 hour round trip again a week later to get my car. Because of this type of customer Service it pretty much ruined all that is great about Carvana.     The initial process is simple, and the vehicle is exactly as portrayed on the website. What they don't tell you is that you have no control over the payment process after that point, especially if you have a third party lender. If you intend to put down a down payment beyond what is necessary to cover the difference between the vehicle cost and your maximum loan amount, you have to know up front before you enter any loan information and subtract your intended down payment from your listed loan amount. They don't ask about a down payment and don't offer any option to adjust your loan amount to account for your down payment. They also don't inform you up front about all of the additional information they require, and give you a limited time frame to provide it or risk having your purchase canceled or your pickup date changed.

    If you include a trade in and have any damages or issues you don't disclose for any reason including not being aware of them, your trade in and purchase are canceled when you're picking up your vehicle! There is no way to even adjust your trade in amount. Finally, they only accept payment from third party lenders via paper check in person or mailed directly to their corporate office or via wire transfer. Very few lenders transfer money via wire transfer any more. If a check is mailed, photos of the check and the tracking information have to be uploaded well in advance of your scheduled pickup. I will never do business with Carvana again, and will tell everyone I can to not do business with them.

    The purchase process was super easy. I applied for financing and completed the purchase in 15-20 minutes. It was so much better than any dealership experience I've ever had. On delivery day, the driver arrived at the early stage of the delivery window, and was friendly and professional. I have no complaints about the purchase or delivery processes.

    I do have some complaints about the vehicle's condition, though. First, the description clearly stated it has a sunroof. It does not. Carvana offered a modest refund for that oversight. Second, the maintenance completed was simply an oil change, as near as I can tell. The engine and cabin air filters were dirtier than a lumberjack's doormat. The odor in the cabin was pretty foul.

    Third, the blower motor for the cabin air fan mattress a high pitched, clearly audible noise when running. The delivery driver commented on it, but seemed to think it was normal. My trusted mechanic disagrees, it needs to be replaced to the tune of $500. I contacted Silver Rock about it. There's no authorized service facility within 60 miles. So, I'm stuck either taking a day off work to desk with this, or paying a $350 deductible to have my local mechanic fix it. I'm decidedly less than pleased about that. In short, I love the purchase experience, mostly love the car, and don't feel great about the Silver Rock warranty. Carvana would do well to ensure vehicles are properly serviced before delivery. I nearly returned my vehicle, but in the end, I decided I could live with the issues because I really do love the car.

    My biggest complaint with my purchase is that nowhere was it disclosed how much cosmetic damage there was to my vehicle. There are way more scratches than the single one disclosed. It looks like someone side swiped something on the drivers side with the vehicle. There are numerous paint chips all over the car. There is damage to the drivers side taillight. The entire windshield is so pitted that it is very difficult to see when the sun is shining...which is ALL THE TIME living in New Mexico. It will need to be replaced. The car was also not very clean upon arrival- there are chips and other food crumbs in between the seats and there was a bad odor in the car. If not for this the experience would have been satisfactory. Considering how much I paid for this vehicle, I expected it to be clean and not damaged.

    The gentlemen that delivered my car were very polite and kind. The entire delivery went smoothly. Unfortunately there was a couple things that could have been better. There was absolutely zero windshield wiper fluid in the car upon arrival (which was terrible in Ohio in January). Also, the oil life was only 35%, an oil change before delivery would have been a nice touch. Also the inside of the car was slightly dirty and could have used a quick detailing before delivery. However, when I picked it up (I should have test driven it first) it had three problems. I took it in for warranty and discovered the car had been severely abused.     I purchased a car from Carvana. The process was very easy for the most part. Ordering only took about an hour online. The car showed up on time and was in the condition as advertised. I picked it up at a local vending machine. No problem. Except that the person who had me sign paperwork forgot to have me sign a Bill of Sale... that's kind of a big deal- I can't get license plates without it. Here's where the problems start. They send a bill of sale via 2 day shipping with FedEx. No problem. I sign it immediately and give it back to FedEx the same day I received it. FedEx loses the package in transit. Yes, my information is floating around somewhere, likely stolen because Carvana refuses to allow me to drop off paperwork in person. I requested to just drive back to the vending machine to avoid this happening in the future- denied. They won't allow you to speak with a human or hand deliver anything.

    I tried calling every number I could find- you CAN'T actually speak to these people. I've read that they made the company profitable again by slashing employees. Yeah, I'm sure that worked, but at the expense of having anyone that can actually solve a problem. I wish someone had stopped them from buying up so much market share during the pandemic. Companies like this shouldn't exist. There is no recourse of action for solving a difficult problem due to not having a local manager on scene. Literally, this problem could have been solved with a 20 minute drive down to the local vending machine- which I offered to do, but no, they refuse. They don't empower any employees to make decisions. I hope their efficiency model works for them long term- I will never do business with this company again.

    A timeline:

    Jan 29 - Wednesday

    Call 1: Call Carvana to get a Massachusetts RTA form sent.
    Call 2: Call Progressive to fill out.
    Call 3: Carvana to confirm receipt. No receipt. Sent to wrong email.
    Call 5: Call Progressive to set to correct email. RTA form sent.

    Call 6 Call Carvana to confirm receipt of RTA form. Confirmed receipt. Confirmed complete.

    Feb 4 - Tuesday. Car set to be delivered next day, Wednesday February 5, 11-2 pm

    Receive voicemail from Carvana underwriting department stating the RTA form was incorrect and needed to be updated within 2 hours of receiving the call in order to hold the delivery date, which I’d already scheduled a $1,500 relocation around. Carvana had 3 prior business days to review and alert me, and didn’t let me know until the last minute. 


    Call 7: Call Carvana to ask what the issue is, they explain the RTA form was filled out incorrectly. They email to Progressive to correct.
    Call 8: Call Progressive to fill out and send back. Progressive returns to the email address the previous (incorrect) version was sent to.
    Call 9: Call Carvana to confirm receipt. Carvana can’t find the form. Says it’s sent to incorrect email, but how can that be? Anyway
    Call 10: Call Progressive to have them send the form to a different email.

    Call 11: Call Carvana to have them confirm receipt. They confirm receipt, but Uh-oh! The form is incorrect? Again? After going back and forth with the (tbh very lovely) cx rep, she confirms that they can actually accept the form as is and I’m all set. False alarm.

    Talk about a TIME SUCK. At least 6 hours spent on the phone between the two companies trying to communicate, translate and coordinate direction. Mind you, Carvana recommended and linked me to Progressive directly through their website after purchasing the vehicle, so one would assume you’d have some sort of direct form of communication, or at least have a standardized protocol for communication on both sides.
One of the craziest car-related experiences I’ve ever had. Good deal though. :P

    Car was delivered 12-30-24. Blind spot indicators were not working. So I scheduled it for maintenance 1-16-2025. Car had been at the shop ever since. Also car was discovered to have rodent damage under the hood. The car also was involved in some sort of collision that caused damages behind the front bumper. Now the Car needs minor body work in order to mount the sensor for the blindspot indicator to function properly. Neither Carvana or Silverrock have taken any initiative to rectify this problem. Both keep blaming each other and nobody is wants to pay for the lemon they sold me. My next step is to go to speak with the Attorney general and file a complaint and get my lawyer involved and let them sort this out in court. Also I will be leaving a negative review with the Better Business Bureau and any other outlet that allows me to voice my displeasure.

I get the car and it looks like a rock may have hit it during delivery and bounced up into the windshield.     Buyer beware!!!! Do not buy a car from these thieves!!! They are complete scam artists!!! Karma is a ** just like I told the supervisors I spoke to that lied through their teeth!!!! We called to attempt to exchanged the vehicle and beware Carvana doesn't count days like everyone else. We got the car on the 19th and christmas was our 7th day and even though they weren't open... We could no longer exchange the piece of garbage they dropped off.

    So then we get on the phone to get the car in for repairs. 10 days in and the guy we talk to felt so bad hearing everything wrong with the vehicle he got it to where it could be exchanged. Except he didn't finish the process!!!! Only delayed it to get it past the 14 days so that Carvana wasn't responsible for the repairs.     The center seat belt is broken and unusable. It was shoved between the seats meaning someone either tried to hide it or a thorough inspection of the vehicle wasn't done. We were also not told that there would be a 100-300$ "deductible" for the apparently "free" repair we were promised after we found the damage. There are also two chips in the front windshield, one of which appears to have gone through multiple layers of the glass. None of this damage was was listed in the car's sale information. I would like to discuss how these issues can be resolved as I do not believe we should have to pay for something when we were not given all of the appropriate information prior to purchase. Because of my concerns with these findings, I do not feel that I can trust Carvana with my future vehicle purchases.

    My daughter financed a car through Carvana. Supposed to be delivered today. Waited until the time for delivery and called to say her delivery was pushed back a week. Called to find out why and dude said mechanical problem they needed to fix. Asked what problem. Dude said he isn't supposed to say but the spark plugs needed to be replaced and then the computer reset, then driven to reset data in the computer. A WEEK! to do that! Seems apparent they are not being honest about this vehicle. Called to see if we could switch vehicles and get it delivered sooner. Dude said he couldn't tell us when it could be delivered until she made the purchase. All about getting paid and no customer service. Someone is going into debt by $20,000 and they couldn't give two poops about the customer. Just selling a vehicle.     I went into this whole process cautiously optimistic. I spent weeks reading reviews and speaking with friends and acquaintances who had purchased their cars through Carvana. I went through the pre-approval process and then spent a couple of weeks looking through Carvana's inventory before finally settling on a red 2011 Mazda3 Hatchback with less than 85,000 miles on it. And a Carfax that showed regular maintenance and no reported accidents. I purchased the car on December 17th with a delivery date of December 21st. The purchase process took less than twenty minutes and I received an email almost immediately letting me know my order had been approved. Unfortunately a snowstorm on the 20th delayed delivery until December 26th. I was disappointed but a delay due to weather is hardly the fault of Carvana.

    Delivery day arrived and I received a call from my driver at around 11 am letting me know he was on his way and that his GPS estimated he'd arrive to me around 12:15. At 12:14 he pulled up. I thoroughly looked over the car and also had my brother with me, a former mechanic, for an extra set of eyes. The car arrived in PRISTINE condition. Absolutely spotless inside and out. I couldn't even find the two "imperfections" that had been listed as faint scratches in the listing. I couldn't find a single mark on the car. I was absolutely THRILLED! I took the car to my regular mechanic for a PPI the following morning. The brakes were as close to new as you can get, as were all four tires and he didn't find a single problem. To say I was over the moon at that point is an understatement. I absolutely LOVE this car!

    To make the whole experience even more perfect my registration and plates, that I was told would take thirty to forty-five days to arrive, arrived in THIRTEEN days instead. The only "issue" I had was that the car arrived with the gas tank on E instead of with the half of a tank of gas promised. But Carvana made good on that. They sent me a check for $60 to cover it. That arrived about three weeks after the car was delivered. All in all the entire experience was wonderful! Easy, painless, transparent and I am 150% satisfied with my purchase. I would absolutely buy a car this way again. Much easier than buying through a dealer and no pushy salesmen trying to pull one over on me because I happen to be female.

    PLEASE DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM. It is a bigger inconvenience than going to a dealership. My first 2 purchases were "delayed" by over a week due to quality issues with the vehicle so I decided to cancel. I was not notified of the first delay until AN HOUR AFTER my scheduled appointment time. One of the appointments On my third order, I purchased a vehicle specifically because it was advertised that it came equipped with a remote start however, the car that they delivered DID NOT COME WITH THE REMOTE START KEY FOB THAT WAS ADVERTISED ON THEIR WEBSITE AND LISTED AS A "KEY FEATURE." I mentioned this to the associate who dropped the car off and she promised they would make it right and honor the agreement, I just need to call. So I did.

    The lady on the phone blamed ME for the mistake because a picture of the key fob was listed on the site... How is a consumer supposed to know if it's the right key fob or not if they never owned that type of vehicle before? Their "transparent" pricing is a joke. Instead of just reimbursing me for the price of a key fob, they're choosing to inconvenience their customer even further by offering their only solution - return it for another car but I'm out of a non reimbursable shipping fee which I will have to pay for again if I choose a new car. Just go to a regular dealership, they care way more than Carvana does about their customer's experience.

    My order was delayed four times at the last minute, costing me and my cosigner a total of 24 working hours. Carvana was incapable of informing me of the cause until it was eventually escalated to a caseworker who told me the maintenance hub had repeatedly failed to simply change a battery and tires. The month of delay shifted the delivery into the new year, pushing my ability to claim the tax credit an entire year out, potentially costing my ability to claim it altogether. I was promised a compensation of $500 dollars, in writing, for the trouble, only to later be informed they are only authorized to send half that and only $250 was sent.

    I have spent hours on the phone with customer service and managers that are somehow never able to contact one another. My case worker vanished and my emails were ignored for weeks, despite being told I could communicate to that address. I was repeatedly promised follow up communication which never occurred. I additionally was promised, in writing, that there would be no license plate cover added to my vehicle, but Carvana failed to fulfill this promise as well. The car itself is great, but Carvana's inability to communicate has cost us personally nearly $800 in lost time and have likely cost me a $4000 tax credit.

    When picking up the car the the Skid plate had been torn up at the Carvana Pick-up sight. She put in an order to have it repaired. We also found the front passenger seat had damage and was not disclosed and the backup camera was not operational. She put in orders for those to be repaired also.     Undoubtedly the most awful experience I've ever had buying a car, but perhaps the most awful experience I have ever had buying anything. First, I live 4 hours away from the closest Carvana pickup center, which, by itself is fine. I had to take the day off from work to go pick up my car. However, Carvana sent me a text message only two or so hours before my scheduled pickup time to tell me they were rescheduling me to two days later because my car didn't arrive, forcing me to take yet another day off from work.

    Then when I arrive, there was only one person there, and for the vast majority of my time in the office, he was behind closed doors and inaccessible. When I was signing my contract, I had a few questions, so I asked him, and his reply was "I don't know man, they just have me tell you to sign it." Then when I get the car, the windshield has two chips in it. Needing to get back home in time to turn in my rental car, since again, I live four hours away and the guy was inaccessible anyways, I decided to drive home to turn in my rental car and look over the damage declaration to see if there was any mention of chips in the windshield, and there was not.

    So, when I contacted Carvana and told them about the chips in the windshield, their response was "We're sorry. We can't help you with that, because you should have told us when you picked up the vehicle. You'll need to contact your insurance company." I totally would contact my insurance company if the issues weren't pre-existing. As such, for me to have my insurance company pay for the repairs would be to commit insurance fraud, so why on earth would they recommend it? When I explained to them why I believed their unwillingness to repair the pre-existing issue was totally unreasonable, their response was "I'd be upset too. But we can't do anything about it."

    I am spending over $20K on this vehicle, it was defective from the start, and the customer service team refuses to do anything reasonable to help. They've permanently lost my business. I hope everyone reading the reviews can learn from my experience just how terrible it could be for you if you choose to do business with them, and instead chooses to do business elsewhere.

    It would take pages to share all the problems but I will try to be brief. 1. Communication was difficult and often I was given incorrect information. I had to repeatedly submit the same documentation. 2. Their system is designed to keep you from communicating effectively. 3. It would be so helpful if they offered a list of the steps to complete the transaction. 4. They would not reveal the financing rate unless you applied and gave your social security number! 5. At pick up they scratched the hood of the car. There were multiple scratches as long as 18 inches. They promised to fix that before we left and they did not. Then after I drove off the lot and later tried to contact them with the problem, they refused to address the issue. They would not even give me a phone number to talk with the facility manager where the scratches occurred..

    After a battle they finally relented and approved for me to go through their insurance to have the scratches addressed. I ended up having them fixed on my own.

    6. They failed to put anti-freeze in the car. I would have never known except that after purchase I had the car fully inspected. 7. It is now a week or two since the purchase and they promised that I would receive information about the factory warranty which is still in effect. I have not received that although perhaps I will, but I doubt it. There were so many other issues they are too many to list but these are the highlights. In the pictures you can see the car in pristine condition before they added the scratches, and you can see several pictures of the scratches.

    I recently purchased a low-mileage 2024 Tundra TRD Pro from Carvana. Upon delivery, I was shocked to find numerous scratches on the body panels. The delivery driver assured me that Carvana would handle the repairs, but when I took the truck to the body shop Carvana recommended, they refused to work with Carvana’s warranty partner.

    To make matters worse, the windshield repair Carvana supposedly performed before delivery was clearly subpar. Because the driver didn’t note the damage (we only noticed it after he left), I had to escalate the issue through Carvana’s customer service. After waiting two weeks with no response, I finally spoke with a so-called “leader” named Gabbie, who was rude and condescending. Her only offer to address these multiple issues was a $25 check—barely enough to cover the hassle of depositing it.

    Carvana may look like a tech-savvy alternative to traditional car dealerships, but my experience suggests otherwise. Their service feels like the same old used-car sales tactics, just wrapped in modern packaging. At least with a local dealer, I could have gone in person to speak with someone who actually had the authority to solve my problem. In short, I wouldn’t recommend Carvana to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and buy from a reputable local dealership instead.

    The positives first, it was extremely easy to find a car and get approved. It was very straightforward to schedule a delivery. But it was delayed a week and we had to go pick up the car from the Carvana dealership. Then as soon as we left the lot there was a horrible vibration while driving so we dropped it off at Firestone the next day to get looked at. It had flat spots on the wheels and the rear control arm needed to be replaced. All of that was covered under warranty. Now a week later the check engine light has come on and there appears to be a problem with catalytic converter and exhaust coming inside the car. We are waiting to see if warranty is going to cover this being fixed also.

    Overall this has been a less than satisfactory experience. It has been in the shop twice in the one week we've had it. We are now one day past the return window. Not sure what sort of standards you have for selling a vehicle but it doesn't seem like this car was checked over at all. Not sure we would recommend carvana after all of this.

The biggest letdown was the cleanliness of the car when delivered, I spent at least 4 hours cleaning and detailing the interior of the car.     Carvana is a very deceitful company. They advertise a 7 day return policy, it is NOT, it is 6 days. We were told if we found anything wrong with the car after delivery Carvana would take care of it, this is also NOT true. We received the car with a cracked windshield, Carvana would NOT fix it. The Airbag light came on and we were told we had to have it fixed at one of their few repair places (none in my area) before the 6 days was up, which was impossible. I was forced to return it and it took up space in my yard for almost 2 weeks before they picked it up. I was a little disappointed however that on my way home the tire pressure sensor light came on within 30 miles of leaving. Turns out that one wheel is missing the sensor. It would appear that when they put new tires on the car they forgot a sensor. I attempted to use the warranty but the shops want me to drop off the car and leave it because the company SilverRock they said are hard to work with. So tomorrow I am taking the wheel to a local shop and paying to have a sensor put in. It's not worth the time and effort to go through a lengthy process.     I purchased a 2016 Jeep Renegade in October 2023, and it has been nothing short of a financial and emotional nightmare. Since my purchase, I have invested over $5,000 in repairs, yet the vehicle remains unreliable and unsafe. As of June 2024, I have been unable to drive it due to persistent mechanical failures. Major Issues Identified:

    Multiple Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) – Including P0440 (Evaporative Emission Control Malfunction), U0001 (CAN Bus Failure), U0402 (Transmission Control Module Issue), P2172 (Throttle Actuator Malfunction), and U0100 (Lost Communication with ECM/PCM). These issues affect engine performance, transmission, emissions, and safety features.

    The online shopping, descriptions are great. Process of setting up purchase was smooth, minus some slight confusing on how to move forward when financing outside of Carvana. The trouble came when trying to pick up the car. The elevator broke on the car vending machine, and after my pickup time was rescheduled 2 time. I then opted for a delivery which was also rescheduled and then showed up an hour after the time frame. I had to have the person delivering wait till I was done with a work call. I do love my new car so far, but the descriptions failed to mention the 2nd row installed blinds were removed and Carvana said because they were "Removable items" they were not responsible for it.

    Having kids - these were one of the reasons I went with the car I did, so it was a bit disappointing that they were not there. As they are built into the doors, I can't see how they are a removable item...     I have owned and loved my hybrid Porsche Cayenne for years and was hungry for an upgrade to a fully electric SUV.     This is the second vehicle I have purchased with your team and the two experiences couldn't have been more different. The customer experience this time was about 5 minutes and the guy went back inside and left. The truck issued was not in the condition it was shown as being in. It has some funky aftermarket cold air intake and not the stock airbox and filter. It sounds like it has an exhaust leak in the muffler but I can't tell because of the after market parts are loud already which none were on the listing. The truck had two bad turn signal bulbs I had to change which staff must have known because blinker was moving at hyper speed when you indicated a turn.

    Some panels on the interior are super scratched up which wasn't listed on the report. Mileage was different more than a little bit. I am also going to have to get the transmission looked at as it seems to be rough shifting. Very disappointed in this company. Especially when the pricing isn't great anyway. The reason I did a second vehicle is because I felt like I got an honest shake on the condition of the first vehicle.

My car came visibly dirty on the outside (bad wash job), the battery failed load tests at the dealership and needed to be replaced in less than a week (which means the battery was not properly tested/replaced by you). The "change oil" light came on by day 4, which means you didn't check/change fluids. I understand you all are busy, but this makes me question whether you inspect your vehicles properly.     The online purchase was particularly easy. I set for the vehicle to be delivered. On the day of delivery, I get an email saying that the vehicle would be delayed. No explanation. I contacted customer service and they gave me a worn, vague non-answer about the delay. So the revised date arrives, and due to weather, it's pushed back again...Now it's a week out from when it was supposed to arrive. I called customer service again to see what other options I had, and was able to pull the date forward by two days by setting an appointment to pick it up myself instead of having it delivered. Okay, fine. When I get to Carvana (Ubered there at my expense), I wait 50 minutes -after- my appointment time because they're too busy. The car had been run through an automated carwash and a vacuum, but that appears to be the extent of anything done with the vehicle.

    The exterior had grease and tar on it that the carwash didn't remove, and they didn't care to do any more cleaning. One of the wiper blades was torn, so it's clear that the vehicle wasn't checked over for full functionality or defects. This is the 4th car I've purchased from Carvana, and my experiences have ranged wildly from great to abysmal. This experience is slightly lower than a middle of the road experience, largely because of the delay and the lack of attention to the vehicle condition. I love the vehicle and will keep it, but Carvana simply doesn't care about the condition of the vehicles they get. I truly believe they buy at auction, wash the vehicles, and send them on their way, leaving the customer to deal with things they should have done.

    I am so sorry that I am unable to find my "Order number." I still believe that you deserve a review. First, thank you! Not long after I moved in with my 93 year old mother (a little more than a year ago) to help her with her daily life; she fell and broke her hip. It was in that time frame that things changed for me financially. My vehicle (which I purchased brand new in 2018) was increasingly having bad issues for a couple of months...before I started my search on Carvana. By the time I was approved for the 2015 Buick Encore - my car gave out.

    I am grateful to Carvana for approving my application, and I am extremely grateful that I didn't have to pay a down payment. (Because my only income is SSDI, every dollar matters.) The vehicle is Beautiful, and has been well kept. It literally looks younger than it is. I am also grateful for the limited warranty. That is definitely better than having no warranty at all.

    The first time I drove the vehicle, the tire light was on, and the mechanic let me know that there was also another issue. SilverRock took care of it, and my cost was $0. I am very grateful. Literally one day after the 7 days that you allow the customer to decide whether we'll keep the vehicle, return it, or trade it in for another; the engine light came on and the wording that appeared on the dashboard was: "engine overheating - idle engine." SilverRock covered that cost as well, with my portion, once again, being $0. I am EXTREMELY grateful. What makes me nervous, is the fact that the engine overheating was the final issue with the vehicle that I had before receiving my vehicle from Carvana.

    I don't know if there will be another engine issue; especially because of the age of the vehicle. I am truly grateful for SilverRock, but the warranty is limited; and I'm just getting started with the vehicle. So again, I am VERY grateful that I was able to get a vehicle from Carvan, but a little nervous about the quality of the vehicle - under the hood. Attempting to finance through carvana was unsuccessful due to the security questions that were very vague but required specific answers that did not fit the description of my past. Receiving the car was no hassle at all as it was delivered to my house. After receiving the car was a nightmare, after taking it to my mechanic there were a multitude of dents, over paint, and damage that was unreported in the pictures (on the website). This was not a problem as the warranty is supposed to cover unsatisfactory cosmetically. As far as mechanically, this was not the case. After reporting these cosmetic problems all of the cases were denied and I am left to fix these with my own money. If I had time to return the car I would’ve and found another place to buy from.

    I had the car 4 days and a brake caliper fell off and jammed into a rear wheel. Had to be towed from center of the road. I had it taken to a local shop and repaired. Cost was $100. I had the spare tire put on because the wheel was damaged and would not hold air. I ordered a wheel at my expense also. Your warranty that is supposed to be so good would not even pay me back the $100 because it is an out of network shop. The nearest in network shop is 200 miles away and the car could not be driven.     Although the car had no recorded accidents, it had so much clear coat overspray on the windshield it was very difficult to even see through. I had to use a razor blade and scrape the windshield for 30 min after the car was washed. There was all kinds of trash, food, children’s little toys under the third row seat. The rear two tires are more than 1/2 worn, the front tires are only about 1/4 worn. The car's battery is testing 1/4 life left. The good news is, the car had a recent oil change and seems to drive well with no issues. Our car that you took in trade was in much better condition, cleaner with better tires. You could have done much better considering the maximum price you charged my wife.

    Purchasing a vehicle from Carvana has been a let down on multiple fronts. When the vehicle arrived the outside was completely filthy. It was not detailed or cleaned AT ALL before delivery. How much work would it have been to run it through a $5 car wash before delivery? I had to run it through the car wash THREE times and there was still residual dust/dirt on multiple areas. The trunk has rust on it which was not shown online which I will need to deal with. There is residual glue/sticky material on the inside windows from where the front tint was removed (very poorly). The touch up paint they did on the front bumper over sprayed onto the grill (white paint on a black grill), I will just have to live with it but why even bother touching up paint if it cannot be done properly. Now the grill needs touch up work. All of these things I was willing to get over because I really liked the specific model/color/trim/options combo of this vehicle.

    The biggest disappointment though and what really made me lose faith, was after I had the vehicle inspected and they discovered leaking coolant (low coolant) and an oil leak from the camshaft of the engine. This was not disclosed on the WI buyers guide which is required by WI law. Upon reaching out to Carvana, they simply said to go get it fixed at a preferred repair facility. No apology, it's my problem now. I requested reimbursement for the inspection/diagnosis of the leak (roughly $350) which I think is quite reasonable for such a massive failure on their part. They were not interested in helping. Just kept repeating to go get it fixed myself. This was really a big slap in the face as a customer. So, I need to spend my own time/money to fix something they missed and were required by WI law to disclose to the consumer. The rep simply stated - we don't do repairs. Yeah, that's very clear based on the state of the vehicle that you do not do repairs.

    Now my vehicle is in for service for the next 1-2 weeks until the engine can be torn down to be fixed. On the plus side, my plates arrived quickly, although I don't have a car to put them on right now. The delivery rep was also very friendly and efficient, he was great. These small positives do not make up for the misses on Carvana's part. Its safe to say I will never purchase another vehicle from Carvana and will be telling everyone how poor of an experience this has been. I'm out two days of work and money to deal with something that never should've been my problem to fix in the first place.

    Don't make promises to consumers about inspections/certifications if you're going to fail so miserably on the execution. Just be honest about the product you are selling. The only reason I chose to keep this vehicle is because I found it nearly impossible to find the same color/trim/option package within a reasonable distance to me. I really hope this car will last me the next five years once it is repaired, right now I don't have much faith in it.

    I’m extremely frustrated with how this situation turned out. My application was denied due to a supposed lack of proof of income, which makes no sense since I provided my tax documents that clearly reflect exactly what I said I earn. Adding to my frustration, I paid $1,690 between the down payment and delivery fees, and now I have to wait 2 to 5 business days to get my money back—or so I was told over the phone. However, the email I received says it could take up to 15 business days, which is absolutely ridiculous. How can you charge me for something that wasn’t approved?

    On top of that, the customer service experience was unacceptable. Jasmin, the first assistant I spoke with, was quite rude. She claimed there was no manager available to speak to, couldn’t provide the store number she works for, and said there was no review department I could contact. She also told me she was going to cancel the application but didn’t follow through and hung up on me. I had to call back and speak to someone else to ensure the application was actually canceled. I gave buying a car online a chance, but after this experience, I’ll definitely never do it again. This entire process has been unprofessional, and I am deeply disappointed with the way I’ve been treated.

    The car had over 800 miles more than what was listed. The car had more damage than what was disclosed. All 4 wheels have very bad curb rash. Multiple dings/scratches on body. Worst of all was the shoddy attempt that Carvana made at repainting the front bumper before selling. Never disclosed any body work performed. Multiple drips in paint and overspray on front lights. How this gets through and not addressed prior to selling is beyond me. I can understand overlooked details or damage that’s harder to see. For example a bad wheel bearing that takes longer to diagnose and needs certain conditions to realize you have that problem but every single car has 4 tires and they’re big and noticeable and to not see GIANT cracks or very low tread is beyond me.     I'm sure this process is simple for those who finance through Carvana, but it was very frustrating to complete this process using my personal bank. I was penalized because Carvana employees failed to do their job in a timely manner and had to delay the purchase of my vehicle for another day, despite there being an ENTIRE business day to verify the check my credit union made to Carvana. Next, you need to update your website regarding the insurance requirement. Per your website under the Pennsylvania tab information, I would be required to have insurance on the vehicle I was purchasing, the DAY OF PURCHASE. However, you would not allow the appointment to remain scheduled until I had the insurance on the vehicle for FIVE DAYS PRIOR to me actually getting the vehicle! That is unacceptable and completely off-base from every other dealership in Pennsylvania.

    I think if you are conducting business in this state then you need to be aware how business is done. Another aspect to this disappointing experience was the fact that the "car vending machine" was "broken". That was the entire reason I had the vehicle sent there instead of having it conveniently shipped to my home. I went out of my way to come to your facility only to be told "it's broken" with no apologies made. I went through all of the frustration leading up to the purchase and then was deprived of my full Carvana experience, making the process, in my opinion, not worth it. My mother-in-law was considering purchasing through Carvana, but after hearing my experience, has decided to purchase elsewhere.

    We traded our car through Carvana. That process was fast and easy. The first car we had delivered had a lot more cosmetic damage than declared. Paint overspray all over the windshield and mirrors, peeling paint, rubber parts peeling up. They only showed “light scratches your finger nail can’t feel”. So we set up an exchange. This exchange was delayed 3 times. Twice the night before and once during the drop off window. Once was legitimate due to weather. The other two had no reason given. I was not allowed to pick it up even though they said it was at my local Carvana. If you aren’t in a hurry and don’t mind a lot of waiting and chatting with AI, it might not be bad. But, if you actually need the car… I’d pass. Not to mention, the car they sent was not the car pictured.

    I would not recommend Carvana to anyone. They totally lie. You can not use the 7 days love it or exchange it. Tried that and they never let me exchange it. They sold me a car that had frame damage and I should of known they were aware of it as to why the down payment was only $2 back. 50.00. They suckered me there. Once I had it they refused to exchange it. Their warranty is more like what warranty. What a joke and the funny thing is I tried to see what kind of deal they would give me to trade it back in. I paid 23,500 for my car.

    Their offer a month later to me was 10,000 to trade it in. But yet I paid $23,500. What a scam. Not to mention they lie about your interest as well. Mine was supposed to be 17% super high but they actually hit me with a 21% at signing and my credit score was 720. Do not get a car from them you will regret it. After confronting them with all these issues they refused to do anything to make it right. They literally said my problem. And refuse to even answer my BBB complaint.     I'm visiting GA for a funeral. I flew out but thought it would be cheaper to drive back. I found my car, and there were two flaws mentioned. When I picked it up, there were other scratches. I didn't want to reject the car and decided to take it. I was driving and saw a 3-inch crack on the bottom of the windshield. I didn't see it because I had to leave. My appointment took about an hour, and my representative took about 45 minutes in the back. He said he needed to research additional information because the car was registered in another state.

    Carvana said I needed to mention the flaw at pick-up, but I didn't notice it, so now I have to go through my insurance to get it fixed. I also didn't like that the Carvana vending machine didn't have enough coins, so I didn't get a chance to keep one. Ordering the car was easy, but if I get another car or refer people to Carvana, I will tell them to thoroughly inspect it and ensure they aren't rushing to purchase a car. Deny any vehicle that doesn't match the online description.

    Completely loved the whole buying experience! The only complaint I have is that there was only one imperfection displayed when I was researching the vehicle but found several other others later. Was told that is normal wear and tear and it would not be covered under warranty. I just wish they would’ve listed all of the imperfections and not just one. Other than that really loved it!

    Registration process held up because someone did not check to ensure all paperwork was in hand. I had to deal with emails and text messages because someone did not do their job. Also, I found a problem with the liftgate struts needed to be replaced because the liftgate would not stay in place when opened.

    So easy to purchase this car via Carvana. Paid online and picked it up on scheduled date. Took car to my mechanic and he said it was in great shape.
