I spoke with one of Roadway's service reps and we went through in detail about what I have. I did a two-bedroom apartment move about five miles up the road. Three people came for the move and from start to finish, it took three hours. Overall, Roadway Moving is reliable and quick, and their quote was very accurate. We had easy communication and I would definitely recommend them.
Thank you for sharing this, Heather! We’re really glad to hear your move went so smoothly and that the team’s speed, care, and communication helped make the whole process easy. It’s great to know the quote matched the final price and that everything stayed on track from start to finish. We appreciate your trust and your recommendation.

I had a difficult move from one high-rise to another with both buildings only providing short windows to reserve the freight elevator. Marcos, Gayle, and Pablo coordinated with my front desk to find out when they could use the elevator, worked with the other movers doing moves in the building, and moved the truck around to make it work on a busy Chicago summer moving day. I didn't even have to take off work because they took all of the stress off of me and handled EVERYTHING. They packed all of my things with great care; they were well organized and protected so nothing was lost or broken! This was my first time using movers and I will never go back, I cannot recommend Roadway enough! Thank you Marcos, Gayle, and Pablo!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with Roadway Moving! We are thrilled to hear that Marcos, Gayle, and Pablo went above and beyond to coordinate such a seamless moving process for you, even navigating the challenges of scheduling with high-rise building elevators. It’s fantastic to know that their careful packing and organization allowed you to remain stress-free during what could have been a chaotic day. Your high recommendation means the world to us, and we’re delighted to have made your first experience with movers such a positive one. Moving with Roadway was by far the best moving experience I’ve ever had! It was our first time hiring movers and we are truly never going back to doing it ourselves! Melvin and his crew were so great and wrapped and packed everything with such care. We hadn’t even finished packing before they got to our old house, and they packed everything else up for us so quickly! Everything was super organized, labeled by room, and they moved anything around that we needed them to at the new place. They disassembled and reassembled all our big furniture and made sure all of our fragile items were taken care of. What was estimated to be a 2-day move took them less than one full day!! These guys were the best, and our dog loved them too! Roadway made moving such an amazing and stress-free experience, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to move! :)

I was familiar with Roadway Moving. I initially was going to use them a few years ago. Just the opportunity fell through on my end. This time, prior to using them, researched on which other company I could use. They were in the middle in terms of pricing range. What helped lean more towards Roadway is where they were located, which is severely close to where I was moving from, and not too far from where I moved to. Because they were so close, maybe they would be there when they said. There wouldn't have to be a worry on traffic and things like that, because they were a few blocks away. Make sure that you do you due diligence, but go with what you're comfortable with. I just felt comfortable with Roadway, so I chose them.
I appreciated that Roadway was responsive. It was easy to communicate with them. The one who set up the whole thing was available. Anytime I sent an email, I didn't have to wait too long, or he would call. And the actual day, the movers themselves were also very helpful. It's not easy work, and they did it without a complaint. I was appreciative of that.
Some of the stuff were already boxed up, so we had a good idea. We estimated what wasn't packed yet based on what was packed, because it was similar items that needed to be packed. We just estimated how many boxes we would need, and that is how we decided. The crew arrived promptly and went straight to work. There wasn't any breaks. They did everything. They had a few comments because I've used incorrect boxes for certain items. So, they just informed me that in case I ever move again, should I need them or anyone, they told me which were the proper boxes to use. Otherwise, they were very helpful. I had a few boxes that weren't fully closed. They helped close them. They wrapped the furniture. They brought something and wrapped the furniture in to avoid it getting damaged. It was a few hours because it was from my mother's home, then my partner's home, and moving everything into where we're living.
Thank you for sharing your experience with Roadway Moving. We're delighted to know our team's proximity and responsiveness contributed to a smoother moving experience for you. It's wonderful to hear that our movers were punctual, communicated effectively, and provided valuable packing tips. We appreciate your trust in choosing Roadway Moving based on your comfort level with our service and location.
Your detailed feedback helps us continue to provide efficient and helpful services. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you again in the future. Thank you for choosing Roadway Moving.

I recently used Roadway Moving for an apartment move in NYC and had a really positive experience. The movers actually arrived a little early, which gave us some extra time to make sure everything was organized before getting started. They were professional, friendly, and very careful with my furniture throughout the move. They wrapped all of my larger furniture, carefully loaded everything onto the truck, and handled the logistics of getting everything out of my old apartment and into the new one. It also started raining during the move, but they kept everything moving and made sure my furniture and boxes were protected from the weather.
Once we got to the new apartment, they helped unload and get everything situated, which made a big difference since I was juggling a pretty busy day at the same time. Overall, the movers were easy to work with, communicative, and handled the unexpected parts of the move without any issues. The whole experience went smoothly from start to finish.
Thank you for sharing your fantastic experience with Roadway Moving! We're thrilled to hear that our team arrived early and handled your move with professionalism and care from start to finish. It's wonderful to know that, despite the rainy weather, they ensured your belongings were well-protected and that the transition to your new apartment was smooth and stress-free. Your commendation of our crew's friendliness and organization means a lot to us. I had a great experience with Roadway Moving. They are better than any other moving company I've used, and I've used a lot for either long haul or short haul moves. I would recommend them to anybody, and I would use them again. I hate moving, and I hate most moving companies. So, I wanted to go with the most reliable moving company with the best reviews. In doing my research, Montway was at the top of that. They also had great prices. Everybody was great, but the initial person that I spoke to was helpful and informative. He went through a detailed list of everything that I had and everything that I was moving, which gave him all the information he needed to give me an accurate quote, which was accurate for what I needed. I just needed 15 or 30 minutes more than what we thought that it would be, which is not bad when you move. I just had one conversation with him, and based on that, I committed to using them for my move.
The moving crew was great. There were things that I told them they did not need to wrap because they just were things that didn't matter and could not get hurt on the drive, but they would not listen to me on that because they wanted to be so professional and wrap everything. They went above and beyond. I moved from a second-floor building with an elevator, but they didn't even use the elevator. They used the stairs for everything, and they were quick even though they used the stairs. They were very professional and polite to my neighbors. It was good working with them.
Thank you for sharing your fantastic experience with Roadway Moving! We’re thrilled to hear that our team exceeded your expectations and made your move smooth and efficient. It's wonderful to learn that our staff’s attention to detail and commitment to professionalism truly stood out, from offering an accurate quote to going the extra mile in wrapping your items securely.
